Who do you face hagatha with?

You start with Shaw and are given Hero cards for Toki, Darius, Tess (costing, I think, 3,6,8 with a battlecry of dealing that muich damage to all minions).
Each time you cast a Hero, you get a new passive power, as well as new cards (and the their Hero Power).

uh, 20 wins and 2 times completed.... So I would say I don't struggle that much?

posted a message on If I were in charge

I would agree with Doomguard. He simply is too good cheated out, far too good. Giving it rush and changing his charge to a battlecry would help it - hell, I wouldn't even mind if he had no rush. Currently, he is simply too abusable and will limit design space (which is a valid argument for nerfs) - something that is apparent with the advent of cheating out minions, as well as resummon minions.

Spiteful ... yes, it is a strong swing, though you sacrifice a lot of possible spells. I don't know, I feel like an indirect nerf is all it would take to bring it in line - so, as to say, bad 8 and 10 drops (statwise) [when I reveal a 10 mana card, I always get a Emeryss - before the rotation? Yogg Saron all the time, even twice in a particulary aggravating match :D]

Otherwise? Call to Arms, at the very most make it 5 cost that summons 3 2 cost minions. This way, you still have value in the right deck (though you need a lot of 2 drops), while you can't play it in a Baku/Genn deck. Though that nerf maybe already over the top, turning it into an unplayable card. Other options would be an anti tech card, something similar to weasel tunneler - a 1/1 that, as a battlecry, shuffles a copy into the enemy deck. If you recruit it, it breaks your chain, making it a tech card vs recruit.

Now, the last card that may be a bit problematic - the cube. The Cube simply has far too much value if you can pop it. No matter what, it has solid stats with an insane DR... What can be done? Each nerf would probably make the card completely unplayable. My take on it would be possibly destroy it completely - resummon the minions silenced. In return, it would probably need some better stats. Then again, if the next version reveals some seriously heavy bodies with demerital effects (Razor Leaf, just as a ~8 Mana card with taunt and ~10/10 stats or something :D), it may become interesting again.

posted a message on I entered the Monster Hunt already [SPOILERS AHEAD]

Question is, can you redo a turn infinitely? I assume not, so it will be not as game breaking - and you need a lot of RNG to actually get something out of it. Otherwise, the ability is close to useless :D

Quite a nice deck - I had extremly well answers and got to 11-0 as well - though my last two opponents were Rogues. The first one rushed me hard, and I was lacking answers (he silenced my Obsi), and the last Rogue was eventually milled (extremly close match as well).

I was pretty lucky to have my answers often enough - something like Scream when he has a lot of weenies, Mass Dispel when all enemy minions where buffed, MCT when he had just placed his fourth minion, etc.

On that note, I am not sure if Ysera cards are truly neutral. They do look like ... hunter? cards. Maybe a custom class, similar to Lichking cards.

    - neutral cards are not class cards. Ysera as well as Kazakus cards are neutral. Deathknight cards are not,
    - Battlecries are not triggered when Tess replays them.

the second point was stated when the card was revealed, though I agree that they could have clarified it better.

you got them. You got them before you even knew what your rewards were, at the very moment it got retired. So, yeah, you are 1 pack richer, though you most likely assumed that you already owned it to begin with.

    Minion (22) Ability (5) Weapon (3)

Extremly aggro pally. Lost the two games because I was faar too greedy (and sleepy):
I had the feeling that the mage had an Vaporize and deliberately suicided my Violet Wurm to buff the spawns with my weapon. I had 8 Mana remaining, a [/card]Dinosize[/card] on my hand, but didn't play it - next turn, Mage casted his 2. or 3. Flamestrike, wiping my board and dooming me. On that note, he was on 11. So, had I played Dinosize before attacking with my weapon, I may have had won ....

Second loss was vs priest. It was extremly close, I was slowly gaining boardcontrol (with 6 health remaining). I cast Spikeridged Steed - on my Violet Wurm (instead of another, just played creature). He suicided his Crystalline Oracle - and got my Equality. After killing my Worm, I noticed that my Stegodon did not appear, due to the 1/1 Worms .... Needless to say, had I played Steed on my other creature, I would have won.

So I DID get a free arena run and a chest with my current amount of wins (3). The chest, however, opened and gave me 100G and a WW pack but was NEVER sent to my account. Anyone else the same issue?

Thats actually not surprising, since the system works like that:
if you get your Arena Reward, it automatically gets added to your account, even if you didn't open it yet. So, you probably already got it, but thought you hadn't, since you did not see the rewards...

The Silver Sword carried me about 5 out of 8 games - and surprisingly, Witch's Cauldron won me 3 games, while my opponent conceded a turn after I played it in 2 games. I have an extremly aggro/minion focused deck (lost two times because I was stupidly greedy :/ ), so that may play a role as well....

I don't understand the hate for both Archmage Arugal and Tess Greymane.

Arugal only needs to double one card to generate value. So, in average you need to draw around 1.5 cards - coining him out could become a nightmare for the opponent. It also has pseudo-taunt, since you don't want to see it standing. If he stays on board uncontested in lategame, the generated value can easily win you the game.
To begin with, a 2 mana 2/2 isn't extremly shabby. If you get draw synergies? Well....

Tess - that is extremly draft-dependant. In a vacuum, sure, it is pretty useless. Add in some burgle cards, and it looks totally different.
If you were to play a 3/4 class minion prior to her, she already is 'normal' in terms of power. Everything beyond this? Well, value doesn't cut it.
Sure, if things like Lotus Agent were still there - it would buff Tess extremly. Mind you, if you get a non-rouge dk, it means that all rogue cards are now considered for that effect. Since cards are more likely to be minions as well.... So, without synergies it is a 5, but with decent burgle cards, it can easily become a 2. With ~two burgle effects, I would say it is a 3 - so an echo card could be enough to make Tess an insta pick :D.

I couldn't decide between Very Good and Playablle - but that Artwork has done the rest. Too majestetic, that one - it deserves to be very good!

Swash Buckler was a truly good card, this one is a bit in between. While a 3/3 is preferably over a 1/1, it is neither a pirate, nor does it enable combos. Still, in most cases, a 3/3 body is important, especially vs aggro.  Time will tell, but I think it will become a staple in some rogue archetypes. Most fo the times, it reads as a 3mana 3/3, draw a playable card - so, it is not too shabby in average.
