It's not going to last but I'm loving wild right now. Even with the new 5 star ranks I managed to climb to 12 in just 6 hours of playing with a 76% WR. On top of that, it is 11-2 against my least favorite class (warlock) and (after some adjustments) has been doing decent against my second least favorite, paladin. On top of that, it's undefeated against mage, priest and rogue.
Yeah yeah I know rank 12 but for now I'm having the first fun with hearthstone that I've had in a long time.
Today is an amazing day. Got total amount of 320g from 80g quest. I was playing the meme decks against other meme decks and getting 80g on top of that is amazing. I also crafted a Maly Kun Aviana Druid and I was playing today a game against topdecking Zoolock. Ive managed to win that game and he added me to insult me but I simply didnt let him do that by the sentence:Im ready for your salt boi)His comeback was really weak and he removed me from his friends immediatelly and without insulting.
An emoting roping priest got a Rin from me with that piece of shit card Drakonid Operative. And he also summoned a 1/1 one with a Twilight's Call from a Lyra.
I hurried up. Drew card after card. Secured Gul'dan and Voidlords in my hand. Finally got N'Zoth. And i got his motherfucking last duskbreaker with my favorite card ever : the Dirty Rat. He had 2 copies of every seal but I burned his deck and after he played Azari all I had to do was putting a Voidlord on the board and watch him rope until he died to fatigue. Yeah last turn I had lethal but bm'd him into fatigue because I deserved it. Can't wait for the april. No Barnes, no dragon package of priest, no ice block, no Y'Saarj no jades. Hope that fuckers all migrate to wild with their cancerous decks instead of hoppin on the newest meta deck.
Got Krul the Unshackled as Valeera the Hollow ended up summoning a duplicate Krul with the death knight death's shadow duplicate using the original Krul's effect. Super neat interaction and an instant concede for my opponent.
Starting a win streak on ladder at rank 8 wild, then facing the same guy 3 time in a row ...! After 2 long games where I outplayed him around turn 15-20, on the 3rd one he just plain conceded
I could almost hear his rage through Jaina Proudmoore's voice : " You win this one (F#$!!!) "
Decided to play quest warrior for shits and giggles. Queue up against a tier one spiteful priest who BMs like a madman. I win in fatigue. My Thanks. Feelsgoodman
So way back when this came out, I used it a lot with mixed success. I guess back straight combo druid was just better, and there was no place for this card. Recently now that I'm playing wild, it seems like a godsend. It costs the same as polymorph, but it is all the polymorphs! Who cares about the 2/2s left behind when you can gain so much armor.
And I am just now appreciating this a wonderful counter to Nzoth, I just played cleared all those nasty lifesteal taunts and whatever else he revived, and then smacked his face. The deathrattles that spawn other minions don't trigger because that board is already filled with treants, so satisfying.
Someone in casual just let me use my whole deck despite having lethal for about 12 turns. Obviously noticed I was just spamming Paladin cards for my daily.
Good on you, "Your Opponent", wherever and whoeveryou are...
Firstly, my girlfriend is playing against a Priest with a mostly-spells mage deck that includes Kabal Courier and she discovers Sindragosa. One of her frozen champions then gives her Yogg-Saron, Hope's End. Priest then plays Nozdormu. Girlfriend plays Yogg, and all Hell breaks loose. Both players must have missed about 5 turns due to lag. Eventually Yogg played Vanish which put an end to the madness. At least until the next turn when she played him again and he finished the Priest off with a Pyroblast to the face.
Meanwhile, I'm playing on ranked against a Kingsbane Mill Rogue using my homebrew Elemental Mage deck. We battle back and forth, I turn her minions into sheep and she throws mine back into my hand. We both clear the board a few times. I'm throwing out elementals like there's no tomorrow. She manages to burn a bunch of my cards but the match goes on until she's in fatigue (I still have 4 cards in my deck, including Frost Lich Jaina).
At this point I have two Pyroblast in hand (one reduced to 8 thanks to Leyline Manipulator) and she has her weapon up to 10 attack and with lifesteal. I had previously played Deck of Wonders which had given me a bunch of low-cost minions from a spell. Plus I had a couple of Flame Elementals on the board. She plays 2 of The Darkness thanks to DK Valeera. On the next turn I'm praying the candles don't all come out. They don't. I play Tol'vir Stoneshaper and freeze all her minions. She attacks him, and plays two Doomsayer. She's now at 14 health. Now I'm praying the candles come out so she destroys her two darkness' on her next turn, but only two come out. Then my girlfriend points out that I have lethal with my pyroblast in hand and the minions on board.
Rarely been so out of breath at the end of a battle but I loved it. That's what this game is all about.
Playing against someone using Legend card back at Rank 17. We were both playing an aggressive Paladin deck, with one key differnce: I had the typical murloc package, and my opponent had Dire Wolf Alphas, Argent Squires, Truesilver Champions, a Consecration, etc I had trouble at first, until Call to Arms pulled 2 Knife Jugglers amd a Righteous Protector on turn 6, and thanks to said Righteous Protector, my opponent could not kill both of the Knife Jugglers on the same turn. When the second one died, Redemption brought it back. (Thanks Hydrologist!) I won on turn 9 or 10 after turning the board state around. (Opponent also played both Call to Arms before turn 7.)
Anyway, I would like to say thanks to my Knife Jugglers. You guys may have been nerfed a while back, but you're still good minions.

162 ladder wins with Renouncelock and counting! Reno, Zoo, Cube, Even; they all run Renounce Darkness in my lists!
Got a bit frustrated losing to comboish decks with my control Lock. So, I dumped 2x netherstorm and 2x doomsayer, and a acidic swamp ooze for 2x Dirty Rat, 1x (total of 2) Gnomeferatu, and 2x young brewmaster.
First opponent, Kingsbane Rogue. Up til now I'm like 0-9 vs. Kingsbane Rogue with my control lock.
Turn 2 I drop Dirty Rat and pull a Coldlight Oracle. Good start.
He plays Doomsayer.
Turn 3, I play Youthful brewmaster, coin, Dirty Rat pulling Minstrel. He rage quits.
Top decks Flamestrike with TWO Arcane Artificers in hand. Now at 1 HP & 14 armor.
Kill an Artificer on my turn with Rallying Blade. Call to Arms. Protector, Wolf, Squier.
Mage top decks Firelands Portal onto the Wolf. Now at 1 HP & 21 armor. Gets Hallzeal off off the Portal. Plays Tar Creeper.
Vinecleaver + Squire into the Creeper.
Kill the other Artificer, attack for 1.
Frost Lich Jania! Keep in mind Hallzeal is an elemental. Now at 1 HP & 25 armor.
Hallzeal attacks my Steward. 5 HP & 25 armor.
Vinecleaver Hallzeal. 9 HP & 25 armor.
Tarim onto 1 Squire and 5 recruits. Kill Water Ele & Firefly. 15 HP & 25 armor. After being at 1 they're now at 40. Other 2 go face of course and they're at 15 HP & 21 armor. Drop the Lion.
Top deck fireball to kill my Tarim and make a Water Ele. Plays Arcanolgist and Flame Elemental.
Top deck Stegadon + one holding in my hand. 3 Tarim'd recruits on board. Stegadon 1? Windfury. Stegadon 2? +3 attack. 12 x 3 =36.
I've won 15 out of 16 games in casual with a Spiteful Paladin deck i created and it's the most fun I've had with a deck in a LONG time.
Scared to take it to the ladder though, even though I've beaten quite a few netdeckers during that run. I just know my draw will be awful if I go to ranked...

Oh, it looks like HearthPwn mistakenly put the wrong card in the link. This is the Army of the Dead I was talking about:
Along with Doom Pact, the worst 2 DK cards in my opinion and the 2 cards Arthas gave me the most. Like 60% of the time or so.
I just love when I enter a match and see cyrillic names.
9 of 10 are playing like monkeys.
