So im playing this kinda wonky elemental shaman deck against a kingsbane rogur. I picked up a kalimos primal lord off a servent of kalimos so I figure might as well try to cast it. So I just play my alakir clear a 2/2 and go face. I never expected this card to survive it was just fodder but then I top deck a bonemare when I already had a murmuring elemental in hand. 22 dmg. Yikes
Stole some ideas (namely Kathrena, Cube, Devilsaur and Krush) off of the front page with the Dinocube Rexxar deck and threw them into a Wild Deathrattle deck. I've been having all sorts of hilarious plays. My most recent game I managed to keep Krush on the board for one turn. My next turn was Cube + Feign Death + Play Dead to get 4 King Krush's on the board at once. In a previous game, I use Sylvanas + Play Dead to steal a warlock's Voidlord, then his Emperor Thaurissan, and finally his Sylvanas. In a mech mage matchup, I put a Nerubian and Devilsaur Egg on the board and proceeded to continually activate them for an army of 4/4's and 5/5's. I can't get enough of this troll deck.
Say what you will about Razakus but dealing 32 damage to a kingsbane/mill rogue who just said whoops to you the turn before because they assume they've won after burning through half your deck is pretty satisfying. Should of accepted my friend request because while it is probably equally as annoying to play against Razakus. Not much can be done about a 12/4 lifesteal weapon that doesn't go away. GG mate, better luck next time.
Yeah, nothing quite as satisfying as beating bad decks with a tier 1 deck.
Unrelated pepper moment: just got The Darkness. As a f2p, I try to find a way to use any legendary I draw. I threw The Darkness into my quest Warrior. First game, quest mage. I was able to play The Darkness on turn four.
Mage drew DK Jaina and Rin from Cabal Kourier, and it looked like I had no chance. But she also played Frozen Clone, which gave her two copies of Acolyte of Pain. Her acolytes ended up winning me the game, as they drew the candles to wake The Darkness. She didn't have her Polymorph handy, and I finished her on my next turn.
Perfect first game for my new toy. I'm pretty sure I'll never get a better moment out of it.
As Kazakus Priest vs Quest mage, so nearly impossible.
Until we arrive at the point with 7 cards left in his deck and he manages to burn Antonidas, gg. Whereafter a total of 4 ice blocks had to be popped. So well deserved win I'd say.
I just beat a control warlock with pirate warrior. Some of you might be like sk what, but I actually only drew two pirates the whole game abd won through my feral gibbler and wretched tiller tech. The whole time in thinking they must have taken defile or hellfire out of the game. He had it but i guess he was waiting for "real minions" but by the time he played it i just flooded again with gibblers 😂
Really enjoying playing Spiteful Mech Mage that was highlighted here recently. First time I've played an aggro deck in a long time and it least in casual it has made mech mage much more viable again imo, despite it not having received any direct support in years.
I started a casual match playing as the miracle rogue list Blizz shared earlier. I'd forgotten to do something upstairs and when I'd returned I had missed the mulligan, and just missed the end of my 5th turn (having gone first). My opponent, a Dino hunter (the ones that run Charged Devilsaur), had played a few secrets, animal companion and... some other minion.
Rank 5 for the month, 76% winrate with Wild Aggro Paladin. One month left of climbing 12 ranks to get a shiny Epic. Also just opened a foil Corridor Creeper, which will probably be 1600 dust in a month or two since I already crafted them.
Nothing feels better in Wild then watching the Highlander Priest helplessly hover over their hero power trying to figure out why Razakus didn’t work.
I love you Beneath the Ground.
Lol I know where you're coming from. Had two of these same situations in last couple of weeks, both of which happened only a few turns after playing the card.
Do people even read the cards used against them or pay attention to the game anymore? lol
I had never beaten Kingsbane Rogue with Razakus Priest under any circumstance, so I was surprised to have won in a situation when all the following things went wrong:
1. Rogue playing The Darkness on Turn 4
2. Rogue burning my Shadow Word: Death directly after forcing out the 3rd candle with Coldlight Oracle
3. Me having already played Shadowreaper Anduin after #2 happened.
I played Raza and Kazakus in the same turn after drawing the 2nd candle. Kazakus crafts a "Deal 5, rez 2." potion. Once The Darkness awakened, I sapped it. (Sap was from Curious Glimmerroot.) Then it came back and I played Psychic Scream. On the last turn I had to live, with the Rogue at 17 health, I followed this sequence:
1. Hero Power (2 damage) to face
2. Kazakus Potion pointed at face
3. Rez portion gets Bloodmage Thalnos and Prophet Velen
4. Rogue takes 12 damage due to the combined power within the duo.
5. I deal 4 damage to the Rogue's face with hero power for one over lethal,
That was an amazing match.
Rollback Post to RevisionRollBack
162 ladder wins with Renouncelock and counting! Reno, Zoo, Cube, Even; they all run Renounce Darkness in my lists!
Beat a Reno lock with my Spiteful Mech Mage deck on turn 10, after going through both Reno, a Voidlord, and him using Gul'Dan on the turn I killed him. lol
I just had a pretty spectacular finish to a game of Exodia mage. I was playing against spiteful priest. I was winning the game quite handily although I wasn't drawing the combo very quickly, I had enough freeze and ice blocks left over to draw the remainder of my deck. Suddenly he drakonid operatived a coldlight from me and played it when I had nine cards in hand. Out of the two cards this burned, one of them happened to be my archmage antonidas! The one card thats loss could have hurt me! I thought to myself "woe is me, am I to be laided low, this game which was in the bag lost because of a twist of fate!" But no, wait! He's a spiteful deck, minions and two spells that give him minions only, and that coldlight was the seventh minion he placed on the board! I threw down all my sorcerers apprentices, babbling books, and Arcanologists that I had and timewarped. I hit him in the face for a bunch and then froze his board with a frost nova. I passed the turn to him. He paused as he realized he couldn't play Duskbreaker, or crack open a free from amber for taunt, or anything. He went though a Cabalist's tome and a ruby spellstone (from the tome) trying to find an answer, but he didn't find enough, and died to my board. Turns out that sometimes you don't need the archmage to exodia people after all!

10 game session.
Didn't draw Patches once.
Feels good, man. :)

Played 5 Keleseths this game. Thanks Sonya!
I had a priest steal Fal'dorei Strider, play it, then try to Raza.... it was glorious. Needless to say, I won.
I was finally able to do the Ixlid combo that I always wanted to do. It's against the Innkeeper but it's better than nothing :D

Got this pack from spectate quest today. \o/
As a F2P player with lots of missing classic legendaries cannot complain!
Since coming back about a month ago I have got Jaina dk, warlock weapon, edwin, benedictus, kalimos, yip, moroes, and Kathrena

The guy sent a salty friend request after that.
