Stats are not the problem, there are a lot of 1 mana 1/3, some of them even didn't see play.
It is pretty disruptive if they drop PWS on it. As soon as priest starts drawing cards you're in trouble lol.

I think Blizzard likes them as they offer low skill-ceiling win conditions but they are bad for the health of the game. Thanks to the bucket system in arena a lot of that crap now gets filtered out there and we have a far better game, this not the case for construtucted.

I think the words "win more" mean something other than what you think they do.
cleric is as snowbally as mana wyrm really, but people aren't complaining about it so blizzard doesn't nerf it (also priest has a weak classic set compared to other classes,like druid or rogue that never were in a "garbage state" and always had a playable deck)
mage has a quite solid game plan in the classic set, priest doesn't, also the problem with tempo mage was "do you draw mana wyrm?" which personally I hated too.. I hate game plans that revolve around drawing ONE card early also mana wyrm destroyed many tavern brawls alone..
The nerf to mana wyrm is terrible though it totally destroyed the card, it's not worth to play the card at 2 mana.. should have been a 1/2 or have a restriction "once per turn" the nerf is LAZY and I am mad about it.
I'd go as far and say Tunnel Trogg ain't that broken anymore. It can't snowball as quick as Mana Wyrm (go ahead, play one of the old Aggro/Face - not Mid Range! - Shaman lists featuring Zap-o-matic/Doomhammer etc. and see how far you can get) since overloading yourself on every turn is a huge handicap (for the sake of comparison check out Snowfury/Overload Shaman) and as soon as the Shaman lost the board it's game over.
Regarding Secretkeeper, it's far too slow to be worthy of a nerf. Northshire Cleric is completely different thing and just fits the Control-ish design of the class (yes, t1 Cleric into t2 Radiant + PWS is annoying but the Priest core set is already weak af).
Understand this - mana wyrm was nerfed to print good 0,1 and 2 mana spells for mage. There are nothing more to say about it. No other basic\classic 1 drop limits design space so much

But after this statement it has become clear that he is a pissed of paladin-player that wants no good 1 drops in other classes so he can always play t1-1-drop followed by t2-keleseth without having to make any decisions or thinking and just snowball to ez-wins after that. My deck is not aggro, but I have to use Prince Keleseth because all my minions are weak stated. If I play one of my low costed minions on 1 turn, and then meet Northshire Cleric, I'll lose most of the time, as priest will draw many cards. I do not really care about other 1 turn drops, even Mana Wyrm was ok, as mage could use him for trading, buying me time.

Forget why each class has certain cards. 1 mana 1/3 minions with effects are bad for the game, regardless of where they exist in the game because of a simple reason the devs should have thought of since Beta! Boy, I sure am smart!

Priest's cards are very strong. Priest generally sucks because he doesn't have strong win conditions. But his cards are really really good.
