Highlander quest mage? Why the fuck not? Not like the ENTIRE POINT OF THE DECK is to pull off an OTK that doesn't work highlander. This is ridiculous. No real surprise tat I still managed to lose to it, because slow control deck, but that shite deck building just grates.
There are lots of ways you can use the quest. It's a flexible card. Yes, it is mostly used to for OTKs. However, you can also use it to push for damage with minions, use it to clear the board with doomsayer etc.

Two turns is quite powerful in HS
True, but would it honestly be worth that much effort and sacrificing so many card slots in your deck just to satisfy the quest to take two turns that doesn't necessarily win you the game? I'd much rather have more control and/or smorc burn cards imo if I wasn't going for an OTK.
Was trying to play with Deathrattle Dorian Rogue in casual. First game - odd paladin, who simply ignored my board all the time and still won with 3 hp left, 2nd game - tryhard golden cubelock who roped every turn "thinking", 3rd game - spell hunter, no comment here. I remember when I was a kid and went to school, we had this really cool teacher who was a great skeptic. He warned us that 90% of people are dumb and lack imagination and that we should be ready for it. I didn't believe him back then, but oh boy, how right he was.
For ****'s sake! Is everyone just playing aggro now?
I tried some nice midrange and control decks and all I'm facing is mindless smorc decks. Odd Rogue, Odd Pala, Wisp Druid. Why the heck would you prefer a deck where you might as well just watch someone else playing it? There's no finesse, no thought going into it. Just play everything as soon as you get it and hope you kill your opponent faster than he does you...
Might as well go and play against the innkeeper if all you want is do winning by going smorc you stupid inbred monkeys.
I HATE GETTING 5 GOLD FROM ARENA. PLEASE. JUST GIVE ME 5 LESS GOLD. I DON'T WANT 5 GOLD. I HAVE SEVERE OCD. I HATE THAT 5 GOLD. IT'S LIKE A TUMOR ON MY GOLD COUNT. REMOVE IT. PLEASE.
Yesterday I ve found Liam in a pack. Today I crafted a cheap Secret Paladin and played 3 games in ladder. I VE FACED 3 FUCKING TOKEN DRUID IN A ROW AND ALL PLAYED DOUBLE SPREADING PLAGUE INTO BUFF AND ULTIMATE INFESTATION ON TURN 10. JUST FUCK

Play good all game, never greed. Enemy makes misplays only but still wins because of double Savage Roar. Guess it's my fault I didn't play around a retarded combo. HoF Savage Roar now.
id love to live in a world where things were played on a level field, not this bullshit where everyone but me highrolls constantly and gets free wins through insane rng. do any other players even know what strategy is? what it means to have to pick between two pretty good choices?

Life before death. Strength before weakness. Journey before destination.
Can the meta you see please start being consistent regardless of what deck you are playing? I'm getting sick of this shit. They say not to switch decks, but when you are constantly facing counters why wouldn't you switch? It's the smart play...unless it's fucking rigged and will face counters to your new deck that you never saw before just as much. Sometimes you just can't win. It's artificial difficulty. The grind is entirely coded into the game. They keep perpetuating the illusion that you can "Adapt" to the meta, but you can't, the meta you see is different depending on the deck you are playing.
This game has the most tryhard losers ever. You can't even play a fun deck at rank 15 wild, without running into losers. The amount of scumbags that play this game is endless. They're always the ones playing the most cancerous decks and emoting. These people are just losers IRL, no doubt about it.
At rank 15 in WILD, I only run into scumbags playing the BEST possible decks on hsreplay. The exact copies of them. These people are shameless fucking losers.
For the love of God alllow me to play the stupid Yogg and the Shudderwock combo in wild casual. All day I'm trying to gather all of the pieces and then play several Shudderwocks with the Yogg battlecry on the same turn and my opponents won't let me.
Today I mostly faced aggro. In the cases, when I didn't - my opponents thought that I ran the boring mosquito TTK combo and conceded prematurely. How the fuck did no one notice the inclusion of Elise Starseeker? Did this seriously didn't ring a bell? You will never see a greedy card in an OTK/TTK deck, which just dilutes it. All I wanted was to play my Yogg for good old times sake. I really miss those fireworks.
Still, I would like to thank 2-3 of my opponents, who actually sat there and allowed this to happen. But since this is the salt thread - fucking tempo mages in wild casual and also in general. How the fuck do they always play the Wyrm on turn 1. I lost several games because of that stupid 1-drop and their secrets. I'm never lucky guessing them correctly. Explosive runes denies me from developing a minion, counterspell denies my spell and both take away my mana crystals. How the fuck do you expect me to play a cheap spell into a counterspell and follow up with the main one, when I don't always have a cheap spell to sacrifice? Sometimes I'm obligated to take a risk and blindly play a spell, which eats most of my mana crystals. It feels really bad, when it gets countered and mage player just sits there and emotes "Oh, you made a mistake". No, I didn't, I didn;t have the possibility to answer your secret adequately and I'm just punished because of it. I just lose my whole turn and the game because of it.
so fucking tired of this shit. something has to change. every game in wild casual is either constructed cubelock or constructed tempo mage.
