I made this custom Big Priest a few days after Standard came out and I haven't found anyone playing anything remotely similar. It has good matchups against Token Druid, The new Kripp Warlock, Evenlock, Spell Hunter, Odd Warrior, Pogo Rogue, Big Mage, fair matchups against midrange and control, and struggles against aggro.
Because most of the people are netdeckers and play netdecks. Your list is doing pretty well because no one knows what to expect from it. I had similar things with Even Mech Mage and Reno Druid in Wild. They are Tier 3 decks but they could beat anything just because no one knew how to play against it or how to adapt to the situation mostly. Another reason is the fact that all Big Priest players migrated to Wild with April Rotation of the sets :P
Lack of early game interaction when it's an aggro meta. Not to mention Odd rogue shits on it with the 3 mana 3/3 that gets pumped up. If the meta shifts more towards control, then yeah big priest easily can become dominant but until then, I don't think it'll be that great.

I don't have something witty about this deck, I just like it because Malygos is fun.
It's basically a worse Recruit Warrior in Standard. Well it has a few minor advantages, but lacking decent early clears really makes it a lot more vulnerable.

Because it’s a bullshit archetype that people are happy is stuck in wild, which still sucks but at least it’s not plaguing the whole game.

Without the high roll potential of Barnes and the lack of a board clear, this deck is garbage.
Definently not Garbage Tier 3 at least and you can definitely hit Legend with it.
In standard its pretty balanced though. Even with crazy resurrections you can still lose games.
The main most obvious reasons I'm not playin big priest in Standard: Y'Shaarj, Ressurect, Dragonfire Potion, Ragnaros, Excavated Evil.
People naturally go for the "proven" decks that multiple people have laddered well with. Main reason imo
Unpopular opinion: Rogue is OP
Just updated the list again and took out Rotten AppleBaum's and added 2x Witchwood Grizzlies.

Because it's not as highroll-consistent as Wild Big Priest, based on Barnes and Y'Shaarj, Rage Unbound.
And because of that, you can hardly sell it to the public as a Big Priest, despite working with the same principle.
