George and Karl are two Paladins who got lost in Un'Goro, who are referenced in the flavor texts of
Lost in the Jungle
and
Vinecleaver
, and can be encountered as a boss in K&C's Dungeon Run mode.
Not sure if this card is too good or too bad. This quest is meant for yolo murloc plays, and while it comes with a pretty good upside (and on turn 1), if you complete the quest you're most likely screwed. Not sure if it's possible to merge a quest with another effect when casted or if it's possible to obtain an instant "reward" from it, but I thought that it could be interesting to make a card like this.
If the hero power confuses let me explain, you would use your hero power and during the opponents turn any minion or hero that attacks your hero will take 3 damage.
Famous weapon wielded på Arthas Menethil... Until he gave it up for
Frostmourne
that is. The card is/has:
1. Has +2 Attack on your opponent's turn (Journey to Un'Goro).
2. Lifesteal (Knight's of the Frozen Throne).
3. Is a legendary weapon (Kobolds and Catacombs).
The card has no effect on your turn (without buffs), but on your opponent's turn, any character attacking your hero will recieve 2 damage and heal your hero for 2. Usually weapons aren't "active" on your opponent's turn, in case you're wondering what I mean by "... and is active..."
The simplest card text you can have that still meets the requirements. This takes the effects that
Kingsbane
was often used for, but without the shuffling mechanic since it starts with them instead of needing buffs.
Man that took me soooo long to figure out how to post the image!!! (mostly because I'm an idiot)
Any sympathy votes for a guy with ptsd?? :-p
Edit; I suppose it goes without saying that the weapon is unsheathed on your opponents turn. Setting the health to 15 I believe is fair for a card like this as any minion who attacks your face (without Immune or Divine Shield ofc) will die. Think it would be a good tool for a control rogue if ever the archetype existed. The hero power may seem a bit OP, but again, I think that is counter balanced by the battlecry. Basically, when you play this card, aggro needs to kill you quick, combo, likely doesn't care, and control...... well, who knows how a control mirror ends? :-)
While you are George, your Hero Power is Rush to Aid , then it's replaced by Silver Hand Justice when you swap to Karl.

Just a cute little Hero Card that gives flavor to the rogue's "combo" mechanic:
"Alright, let's do this! Mgrllmrgllmrgllmgrll!"

Wished to be pink.
Then did.
Then fired myself.
Then did again.

I believe that all we need is to breathe and feed and breed and when you feel the need feel free to feel free. Gimpusoid#2403
Edited because apparently I'm an idiot that doesn't knows how to read rules...
I miss Dragon Warrior
Picture a world where Dr. Boom, Mad Genius wasn't printed and Warriors still needed a better Hero card than Garrosh.
And also picture a world where Blizzard revives Dragon Warrior a bit earlier than Rastakhan.
custom spellstone cards are really hard to make without good photoshop skills okay use your imagination
Edit: GDI I forgot the un'goro mechanics hang on
EDIT: ok this is a legal submission now
The weapon is a very tacked on part of this and largely unnecessary to what I was trying to go for but I didn't want to do all this work for nothing
Un'Goro: Poisonous
Frozen Throne: Lifesteal
Kobolds: Rogue Secret (not specifically mentioned in the rules but in my opinion another exclusive and specific Kobold mechanic)
It's a nasty job, but someone has to do it.
