Not sure how I feel about this. But the idea behind it is mainly just a finisher. Unless you absolutely need to play it mid-game, then essentially it just becomes a removal tool with the downside of healing your opponent for 6.
The Lifesteal will save your opponent, so it can't really function as a finisher. They'll hit zero or dip into the negative then come back out, because Lifesteal happens before the Death-check. I know this because it happened to me today heh
Behold, foolish interlopers! I am commanding this mortal to spread the will of the Scourge throughout the interwebs, encouraging you to seek out me, Archlich Kel'Thuzad! Now coming to you as the tenth class of Hearthstone!
I am a finalist in this Class Creation Competition, so if you could give it a look I would be greatly appreciative <3
As part of our rules regarding Submissions, please do not make your cards Golden. It's distracting.

This is what I've come up with so far. The inverse of Fatespinner, Pandaren Double-Agent's Deathrattle is a secret; you don't know what he's going to do until he betrays you!
At the moment, the three possible outcomes are all 3-mana's worth of an effect:
Cast 'Fan of Knives' for your opponent.
Restore 8 Health to the enemy hero.
Deal 5 damage to your hero.
Exactly what I wanted to create when I saw the competition restriction lol However, how will this one work? Would your opponent choose the Secret? Then it will come with another drawback since your opponent gonna wait until the last second and you couldn't do any other action?
I'm pretty sure it'll just choose one at random. My main problem with the card is that your opponent will need to play it multiple times or look it up on the internet to find out what this does, although Team 5 has done this themselves a number of times (Ysera, Arfus, The Lich King, Mimiron's Head, Blood of The Ancient One, every Quest and every Unidentified card comes to mind). In that case, I guess it's okay.
xOwleyex The game would pick the Secret Deathrattle at random, and let your opponent see it. They do not get to choose. Nothing too tricky :)
As for the game-knowledge aspect, Demonxz95 you basically answered your own concern: there are various cards in the game already that are less-than-forthright regarding what they're about :P Most of them are Legendaries, but you mentioned Blood of the Ancient One and it's an Epic.

Oh really?? Well that's lame. There goes that idea
Hey guys! I have three cards I wanna run by you today.
The first is a shaman spell that makes use of an under-utilized mechanic. With careful planning, you can use this spell and a totem to destroy two threats, but it's rarely that neat. For this one, I want to know if the wording sounds natural and consistent, and I'd like to know if there is an actual WoW spell whose name would fit better than this one I just made up.
Next is the one I'm most excited about. I always wanted a tool to turn shaman tokens into defensive tools, rather than offensive ones. This fits into even shaman, freeze shaman, and control shaman. Mostly, I'm wondering if there's a better name, as the one I chose is too on-the-nose but I'm drawing a blank for better ones. Also, does it seem too strong? I feel like this is easily countered by a handful of cards, but might be way too tough to punch through for others. It might also be a weaker Spreading Plague. Who knows.
Lastly, we have something that I think could be really cool, but I'm having trouble bringing it together. The idea is that, if you run this card, you start with a free minion on board, but at any point, you could draw into this card and give your opponent a much stronger free minion. A risky card to be used for early tempo gain. I'm having trouble making the text sound natural and succinct, and I honestly have no idea if it will be brokenly strong or way too risky to play. Also, it has to be a legendary, since running two would be too strong, but I don't know WoW lore, so any name drops of characters who might fit this card's flavor would be greatly appreciated.
Adjacent minions are Frozen only when this minion is on a board and you can play around the effect by placing weak minions next to it. Are stats fine or too much?
Quick question: Can I use a card I made for a previous competition that didn't win? If so I have have the perfect card for this. If yes, then ladies and gentlemen, I present one of my personal and most successful custom card (coming in second), Drekavac the Defiler!
Going for something simple this week. Dunno if it should be "summon" instead?! I think it's okay balanced as it is. Any feedback would be appreciated :)
Millhouse's Apprentice: Not as big of a negative effect as Millhouse Manastorm, but still pretty big for the stats.
Recruit Gobbler: A big detriment because you can't use it in most aggressive decks, and it renders your hero power useless, unless your Uther of the Ebon Blade.
Reckless Pyromancer: To clarify, it would deal 10 damage to your face right away as cards in the past have shown. Not bad for a finisher with two Frostbolt and an Arcane Missiles, for 21 damage. (Actually, now that I think about it, this may be too strong, but that's up for interpretation.)
Feedback would be appreciated.
I had almost the exact same idea for the "Recruit Gobbler", so obviously, I had to go for something different. Which also means that I find your card brilliant! :) Go with that! (But please do consider that I have been play paladin as a main since launch, so I might be biased! ;) )
So, it looks like I am taking a shotgun approach this time. Feedback is welcome and the favor will be returned. Note: These are basic design directions, so any suggestion on balancing and flavoring is highly appreciated!
Some of my first ideas. The druid card is my favorite but having trouble with the wording without getting more than 4 lines. By final form I mean ofcourse the combined effect of the 2 choose one options (see all minions in the Fandral Staghelm hearthstone wiki page.)
Thane Thaurissan: Father of Emperor Dagran Thaurissan and good against Zoo/Face Decks. The opponent loses many small minions against this guy but gets cheaper cards. It is, as you can see, the opposite of Emperor Thaurissan.
Scarecrow: Also an anti-aggro minion. Compared to Thaurissan it has less offensive values, but strong defensive values. A scarecrow is supposed to keep the small creatures away from the valuable grain. Here it's supposed to keep the little minions away from your hero.
Felguard: And for all aggro fans still my personal favorite. The classic warlock demon. High stats and a lot of damage your hero has to take. I think I don't have to explain anything else here.
Pls dont make overstated 1-3 drops with laughable drawbacks that will never matter cause the tempo you gain will just win you the game on the spot, thanks :X But good luck to all :p

King from Below: Balance is fine but I don't think this is very interesting. Same with Illiterate Goblin.
Blood Sacrifice: hmm... I honestly don't think it would be very good. Best scenario would be turn 4 this + doomsayer to gain a net of 3 mana (and lose 2 cards).
Bi-polar Bear: Name is hilarious! I don't think freeze is a druid thing tho
Ancient Ogre: You could be braver and make it -2 spell damage and a 5/4 i think....maybe

I think this needs a better name. For +2 attack you give your opponent a card which you think will be most useless to them.

Not sure how to balance this, lowering mana it's too strong since it can be played without considering Armor a factor.
I think the 'Do something + Shuffle' effect was very cool. This card should bring back that type of interactions!

So I found a card I made previously which would fit in within the rules of the competition. However I would like to hear what people think.
My Entry for this week's Card Design Competition - Season 8.16:
My ideas this week:
