There's some interesting shuffle mechanics this expansion, so maybe...

Coerce exists, so this card will only see play if C'Thun, the Shattered rogue is a thing 

Assassinate has left the chat

Remember how some tempo rogues ran walk the plank? this will be similar to it minus that it can also target damaged minions. not bad removal for a shuffle rogue, and will certainly be helpful against control decks. Lets say a ticket master died, it shuffles three cards into your deck, and now you have a 2 mana assassinate. If you really want to play dirty, play c'thun the shattered, now you have a one mana assassinate instantly. if this expansion gets one or two more shuffle cards, shuffle rogue might actually be a decent deck.

I think it's going to need more cards that lend it some sustainability, otherwise I'm afraid it's just going to get ran over by most aggro decks and pushed out by other value/control decks.
