it's too bad ixlid only works when you actually play a minion :( o well, you can still get the second blood up. but you will not get a second ancient one. still pretty op, especialy with aviana. ixlid + aviana + blood of the ancient one :)

this card is great with ixid. Only requires you to play one blood of the ancient. 

Played this Arena as mage and used Manic Soulcaster with Aluneth to finally summon The Ancient One.

Mind Controlled next turn.

I got screwed by a rogue who returned it to my hand and made this card cost two more mana. I had no way of reducing it or countering it. So yeah, that's a thing that can happen

I'm not sure whether crafting this card is worth it

I feel like this guy has a ton of potential in Big Priest/Ressurect Priest. Plus its cheaper to craft than some legendary cards. Does anyone on here use it in their priest decks?? :)

Emperor Thaurissan your hand, then play Blood of The Ancient One for eight mana and Mirage Caller on it for two mana. Boom, The Ancient One, in a two-card-plus-emperor combo. It's so self-contained you could put it in Reno Priest if you wanted to.

Is this a competitively viable card to play? Probably not, even with that combo. Fun to pull off? Heck yeah.

THIS is how you summon The Ancient One

Aviana, Faceless Manipulator and Innervate are another good way to get The Ancient One out (or two if you are having a really good day).

Best thing you can ever do though is play Rogue and use Brann Bronzebeard and Shadowcaster to get an infinite supply of 1 mana Blood of The Ancient One

I tried Barnes in my Ancient Blood deck, and all I got was all of my bad minions .-.
