He was the first Legend I opened and he's not quite as terrible as ppl think as most ppl mulligan away heavy cost spells. The problem is he's tough as a top deck later and sometimes ppl get powerful spells off their mulligan.
I have. I have played it in a aggressive paladin deck with King Mukla and Divine Favor. It was pretty much the aggressive Paladin deck that was pretty popular before TGT came. Most players opted for more consistent drops, instead of the legendaries, but there have been players who made legend playing the deck with Millhouse. It's high risk, high reward. I have lost spectacularly because of him but there have been games where I coin out Millhouse, my opponent thinks for a minute, then concedes. This deck is outdated though, because Mysterious Challenger builds are so much better.
I also had Loatheb in that deck. There will be times where you simply can't play Millhouse out of fear of disaster. Topdecking Loatheb allows you to circumvent Millhouse's battlecry sometimes.
Whether you should keep Millhouse depends on the size of your collection and your crafting wish list.
Hey guys, thanks for all your replies. I had Mukla in the past, so I had experience with a minion that's ideal for the early game yet powerful in stats, but the punishment I was sometimes receiving wasn't worth the effort, so I dusted him. In that context, Manastorm can punish me even more... so I decided to dust him. Dusting both of them was like taking one more worry off my mind when developing my game, and the dust reward was well spent.
(Having said that, I have become increasingly aware of how rare it is to get a legendary minion, so unless completely necessary I don't dust them)
I did quite a bit of research before dusting him though, and using Loatheb was indeed a recommended combo, but hard to pull off. It almost reminds me of the almost purely hypothetical Majordomo & Alexstrasza the Rag up to 15hp (which by the way I would be very interested to hear if one of you has used it in a deck).
I would only dust if you have something else you want to craft now with the dust you will get. I have four legendaries that I would dust if I needed to make a card - Troggzor, Mukla, Millhouse, and and Cho. I would not hesitate to dust them all if I had a card I wanted to craft. But for now I am content to sit on them as I have no immediate needs.
Some folks are a bit freaky with dusting anything, I am of the mind that if you want to play a card that you need to craft, go ahead and dust what you don't need. Life is short. Have fun now. :)
I don't think that works , because Millhouses text says "Battlecry: Enemy spells cost (0) next turn", so increasing the cost wouldn't do anything :) (unless that was sarcasm :P)

If the game ever revolves around only minions and weapons he is worth it, otherwise he is only worth 400 dust (yay?)

I am gathering dust for Control Warrior, and I need Alex and Grom... Besides that, I recently also had to dust quite a lot (which I wasn't using) to get most of the Druid's epics - and they are a lot! I didn't particularly want to dust Mukla but it was backfiring way more frequently than I wanted him to (activating Antonidas, Rogue combos etc etc) and I needed the dust as well. Same case with Millhouse.
You could maybe use Millhouse in an anti-spell deck, such as a mage with Counterspells, Spellbenders, Loatheb, Troggzor, Wee Spellstopper, Lorewalker Cho, etc.

...Millhouse Manastorm.
$!#@$%#!!!!
Has anyone had luck in using him at all without it being a recipe for complete disaster? In the very early game, perhaps?
You mean, you got 400 dust?
It allows some nice turn 2 or 3 kills, by your opponent. lol

Balancing busted cards version 1.0.
Yeah, Coin + Millhouse + Pray
Super bad against Mage at any point in the game, and against everything else any point past turn 3 or 4 IMO lol

Play him in fun decks. I crafted a golden millhouse a long time ago when Noxious was always playing his random priest deck
trogg deck?

The dream is Millhouse + Loatheb.
But I have to ask you, is a 4/4 and a 5/5 better than Dr. 7?
Or swap out Loatheb for Gallywix, but now is a 4/4 and a 5/8 worth playing an unplayable class for? :P

Now you'll never be able to play mill Shaman. :/

No, it does work, because Wizard Poker math :)
Just play the Mushroomman after Millhouse.

I didn't test it myself, but I've read that if you play Millhouse and then Loatheb, spells remain at 5 mana.
