Play Oasis Snapjaw, then Carnivorous Cube it. Kill your cube off on turn 10 for less than 3 mana somehow. Then play Star Aligner! Then immediately punch yourself in the face!
In all seriousness though, So flavor, much suck. I'd actually enjoy the flavor of it if it wasn't a fucking epic :(
The good news, expect some entertaining trollden videos featuring this.
You could also naturalize it as well. The real issue is that you have to hope you cube doesn't get silenced, or killed and any damage at all to the snapjaw's. It's a minimum of two turns which is one of it's biggest issue. I can't think of a single one turn set up from a board that doesn't already have a 7 health minion on it.
There definitely has to be some cards that aren’t revealed yet to actually make this work because this cost 7 mana which in my opinion means the likelihood of your minions even staying at 7 health from the previous turn to play this afterwards is next to none imo. Therefore I believe there will be something up into the 3 mana range that somehow makes the health of minions go to 7 therefore allowing this to activate with 10 mana at worst. Probably at best also but who knows. There’s gotta be something else!!
How much health should a minion have so that when you play Glitter Moth, your minion end up with seven health? I'll be waiting for your answer. #mathishard
Shudderwock + The Mistcaller + this might work. However, I doubt if it's wording means "if you control at least 3 minions with 7 health" or "if you control *exactly* 3 minions with 7 health". We can just compare it with Nesting Roc, which does have "at least" in his text.
I personally voted 'playable' - not because I actually perceive it as playable, but that's the closest I can give to a 2.5/5 rating.
At first glance, I can't imagine any deck where this would easily fit, so I'd be inclined to rate it as 'bad'. However, that battlecry is absurdly powerful, so I also think ignoring the effect moving forward be unwise. It's possible that with other reveal cards and some crafty deck construction someone can find a deck where the super powerful battlecry shines (think Shudderwock - took some tinkering but last I checked it was a tier 1 deck).
If somewhere were to do it, based on current cards, I wouldn't be surprised if it was an odd shell - upgraded priest hero power is pretty good in a more controlling deck, and Glitter Moth makes the requirement a lot easier to manage. An alternative would be a Lady in White deck where a lot of the minions you're running are going to be high health anyway.
Again, not saying that I think it's currently playable or will be playable - but that battlecry is so strong I think it's worth reflecting on as we move forward.
Um, there isn't a single number you can double that then becomes 7. Glitter Moth won't work. Lady in white COULD work but then you'd have add more stars for star aligner to worry about, so to speak.
The effect IS strong but the set up, at least at the moment (more minions to go after all) is far too many hoops to jump through even for this cards pay out. My guess is though we won't see this card have an easy dial combo for it, it ain't called Star Aligner for nothing
Oh god, I was under the impression it was like Fight Promoter, but you're right - the wording is clearly different, and this one requires exactly 7, not 7 or more. I fear the universe where it's possible to get this battlecry in a competitive setting simply does not exist.
Well, there's Aviana Kun, or Thaurissan + Drakkari Enchanter to set up some potential combos (including Brewmasters for repeat triggers), but are these really better than existing options?

The below is a quote from Lyvra_silvertounge.
"Combo plays out as a typical Aviana combo with Kun & Brann then drops 2 North Sea Krakens for 16 damage then 2 Star Aligners for 28 damage."
Just created an Aviana Kun OTK deck with this card in wild.
It may not be great in standard, but I'm sure taking this deck to town in wild when it releases.

So situational card that almost evertime it wójt work. Instant dust.

Your deck is confusing me. Star Aligner isn't even in there. What about this combo. Aviana > Kun the Forgotten King > Brann Bronzebeard > Zola the Gorgon (on Brann) > Brann Bronzebeard > Brann Bronzebeard > Faceless Manipulator (on kun) > Naturalize Zola (for room on board) > Star Aligner > Living Roots.
So that is a 8 card, 9 mana, 30 damage combo. Easy mode am I right!?

why are you running so many bad/pointless xards like tauren, novice, n'zoth...
I think this card is as it's nane suggest apart from aviana kun which is a combo enabler for any combo really this card is pointless.
I assume you mean the deck maker and not me. My deck won't look like this at all. Why run the card though? Easy, for funsies.
What it means for the stars to align:
this card is so amazingly useless.
Considering that Fight Promoter works with it's own health I think that you're right.
It has to be snakes.
1. Play 2 snowfury giants shaman that reduce cost by playing overload cards.
2. play 2 elven archer and shoot the giants
3. play star aligner
4. concede because you success to play the battlecry
Is this card a joke? I'll be blown away if this card even triggers once during the four months of The Boomsday Project
Let's negotiate. You concede, and I'll let you live
.
the card is called star-aligner and for it to work the stars really need to align. haha...i'll see myself out.

This is totally usable in quest druid

You can find her deck idea here https://www.hearthpwn.com/forums/hearthstone-game-modes/wild-format/220749-star-aligner-otk-for-boomsday#c4
Condition is like mission impossible.
