Last season I was playing Maly Druid for the most part...ended up around rank 12.  This season I started with Maly but there were too many counters in the higher teen ranks so I started playing Odd Warrior and managed to climb back to 13 but now I'm running into a lot of Zoo and other counters so I have been kinda stuck.

Right now I have Odd Pally, Odd Warrior, Zoo, Token Druid, and Maly Druid constructed.  

Maly druid, token druid and odd warrior are extremely difficult and time consuming decks to play (and consequently time consuming to learn). According to HSReplay, Odd warrior is the best deck in the meta to counter zoo, so you're probably doing something wrong there. You describe yourself as older in age, so I would not recommend these for laddering since I assume you have a busier life than most of us

Odd pally and zoo should be your best bet, depending on what the other people at your rank are playing besides zoo.  For instance, zoo does much better against druid than paladin; paladin does slightly better than zoo against all aggro; both are pretty bad against heavy duty control

Another consideration is crafting tempo mage. Flamewaker is your favorite card, you say? The deck is still alive in 2018 and is tier 2, though you can only play 1 flamewaker in your deck and it draws cards instead of pings now. Being comfortable and experienced with your deck is important and tempo mage has not changed much over the years. You might find this deck both enjoyable and easy learn since you have prior experience

While I have something similar I’m leaning more towards a Baku bomber which I think it will have enough steam definitely considering the upgraded hero power. I’m gonna run it with cubes. I’m even looking into an even bomber which likely would perform better perhaps and you can add Rexxar for backup!!  In decks like this I think the upgraded hero power is the difference in winning more especially hunters hero power. Just my opinion but we shall see

No keys went out yesterday?  Probably was busy. 

I’m bumping this for nothing more then I think this is a game that doesn’t get enough recognition. I’m intrigued after 2 days of watching some twitch streams and YouTube vids.  I think the single player stuff is phenomenal and a good way to become familiar with the game while gaining cards etc...  I honestly feel like I’m gonna be making this something I invest more time in as opposed to other games I play now. Everyone should give this a try wether you play it or not. It’s refreshing and I haven’t met anyone who dislikes it

 Yes! We did go F2P at one point, but have recently completely changed our model. Instead of having to buy tons of card packs, we made it more of a one-time-purchase with very accelerated collection gaining, supported with monthly content in the form of DLC. The goal is to make it so you don't feel compelled to spell hundreds of dollars in order to play all the decks that you want.

Faeria is a universe created by four best friends (the founders of our studio) many, many years ago. It's simply the name of the world that the card game takes place in.

There's a lot of in-depth lore involved, much of which is shared in-game through the card art and our most recently introduced 'lore pages', which give an idea of how the universe operates. However, much of the story behind Faeria remains open for interpretation and the truth behind it is revealed by us in bits and pieces.

Was this a free to play game at one point? I didn’t realize the game cost loot. I’m not complaining, I just wasn’t aware and I cannot justify spending the money if I cannot try it firsthand.  Here’s hoping I can get a key so I’ll stay in touch with this thread
