+1. That turn 6 play where you just auto lost even playing as a top tier meta deck. The fact that it rubbed salt in the wounds by making you try to figure out the best way to play around the secrets, even though you probably already lost either way, was very unique.
1: NO Divine Spirit ? to choose? - It's one of the most hated FOR SUREEEEEE, hate this Otk'ish crap %&%%78&@ and his friend Inner Fire, but a lot of cards do the same job of inner fire, so, the problem is divine spirit, mostly.
2: Naga Sea Witch - The most broken Wild card right now, it's ridiculous.
3: Jade Idol - the ultimate control against control card that never ends.
4: Alexstrasza - The meta is faster now, but always hated this one, you had 30 health last turn, now you have 15. It's 9 mana 1,5 Pyroblast to face and a 8-8 body, so, you will die to mage spells next turn. thanks to alexbroken.
5: Honorable mention to Open the Waygate and his frozen friends Frost Nova, Blizzard and Ice Block, the ultimate "play alone, win alone, kinda of deck", stall the game forever until you can win, unless they have another ice block or secret eater.
Patches. There was a long time where he was in almost 70% of decks. Every time you went second you started hurt. I crafted maybe two dozen legendaries and refused to craft him Everytime. The day he got nerfed was so happy. It was a dumb mechanic.
People are talking about what gets nerfed and what doesn't, you have to remember blizzard is about making money. Rage is good, emotion is good. Rage that makes you quit playing is bad for blizzard. UI and Jade idol and ice block are annoying cards, but they never really defined the meta. Raza, firy war axe, and patches got nerfed because they made people stop wanting to buy cards. No new decks we're getting to the top, pirate warrior and razakus priest were dominant too long.
That's why no one has to worry about cubelock. If it gets to the point where no new decks are being played after a month of witchwood, we will see a Nerf. Blizzard needs to sell packs. :) It's a mutually beneficial system for us all.
#5 - Tunnel Trogg, for obvious reasons. Holy Jesus, that card still gives me the creeps.[/card]
#4 - Yogg-Saron, Hope's End. During my limited time of owning this card, every time i'd use it, it would cast Doom in the first 3-4 spells, while my opponent would get double Call of the Wild. After he got nerfed, all my disappointment was refunded.
#3 - The Caverns Below. Oh my bloody lord... Once RNG sets its roots before the game even starts (Mulligan), it's over. Big priest can still be defeated even after a good Barnes, but the only way i would end up beating quest rogues was playing Face Hunter or them getting bad draws.
#2 - Ice Block. Mage quest reward before he got the quest. And he could have two. Now i have a golden pair and i will happily say goodbye to both of them. Most obvious secret ever, and you know you can't do anything about it and that is one of the worst things i ever felt in this game, except for the dumbest card ever, wait for it....
#1 - Kingsbane!!!!!!!! This is the most infuriating, uninspired, blatantly over-powered and virtually uncounterable (except with countless weapon removal and praying my opponent can't draw it back) spawn of hell i have ever played against. The very mention of this card gives me flashbacks of the times when Hearthstone manages to influence my life directly by making me angry all day (this is my fault and not the card's, but you know what i mean. Also, all the anger would leave if this card would leave the game ^^).
EDIT: My opinion on Kingsbane, as well as any other card, does not reflect the opinion of the entire HS community. My limited skillset makes me lose to Kingsbane quite often, whether or not the card is actually op or not.
reno sucks. Made me quit the game for a couple months. I mean i guess i deserved it for playing face hunter but omg i just hate when they get healed from 1 to 30 and your opponent hits you with greetings
I was one of those players, because fuck face hunter haha. I love Reno.
You should update your list with Prince Keleseth. Voted for Patches the Pirate and Jade Idol. I'd also like to show my disappointment to Big Priest too, but unfortunately there isn't a singular card that represents it more than another one.
I think currently, Zilliax is just too versatile. He can go in every deck (and seems to be in over half of the decks I see). I think that's bad design if a card is so popular and usable. (I also hated Lich King, although a litte bit less, especially as he completely overclassed a class card, namely Ironbark Protector

"I wish you hadn't done that, that was Weyoun's Last Clone"
I was mostly an arena player when many of the cards in the pool was a plague, so can’t really pick any of those as my most hated card.
I do however hate cards that auto win games. Barns and Darkest Hour comes to mind. There is just nothing that really stops Barns into Y’Shaarj into Y’Shaarj on turn 3 or 4. Although it is very rare that it happens. It is however almost always an auto win when it does. Darkest hour is also an auto win card most of the times. I do not really hate the decks that plays those cards, but really not a fan of the design of those cards.

Imp-losion. Hate that card so much.
Mana Wyrm too.

Duskbreaker, because every priest has it TURN 4 OR from Netherspite Historian.
My Recruit url for those who want dem packs! https://battle.net/recruit/CDF2JMK6CQ?blzcmp=raf-hs&s=HS&m=pc
I'm still thinking Tunnel Trogg is pretty much the worst card ever created.
I
hate
Drakonid Operative.
So glad it's leaving Standard in less than a week.
SMH Barnes isn't even an option.

As a purely control player, the only card that ever made me stop playing the game until it was changed was Caverns Below.
Nice Poll !
I voted Jade Idol
Voidlord second
Undertaker, Kingsbane, Gadgetzan Auctioneer ex-aequo for 3rd place.
How about Shudderwock?
Bloodreaver Gul'dan Frost Lich Jaina Water Elemental

Arcane golem..pre-nerf Arcane Golem to be specific, i hated that card more than i hated undertaker and i loathed undertaker
