How does this work? The word "summons" is missing a trigger. Each game tick? Every second? Whenever any player makes any action?
If this was a fan made card this'd be deemed a horrible one tbh.
At the end of each turn it summons 2 3/2 imps on either side of it. Assuming the portal itself would say that on the actual portal 'minion' so...there's no problem here.
So after discarding 6 cards, which can be easily done with a few Soulfire's, Succubus's, and Doomguard's you play a 5 mana spell which gives you two 3/2 minions every turn with demon synergy (basically using 4 mana for free)Beseternal minion ever, eat a dick Dreadsteed.
im going to be the first person that says this is bad. lets look at the conditions for this card. discard, so its going to be in a zoo themed deck. discard 6 cards. so you HAVE to discard the 6 cards. not playing a doomguard in an empty hand etc. you HAVE to play it on turn 1 in a zoo deck. so you lose your early tempo. and after you do manage to discard 6 cards you have to play it for 5 mana to get 2 3/2s. it seems super slow, hard to trigger, and theres no real deck it fits in.
the only way this sees real play imo is if a new card comes out that supports it very well in addition to the new 3/8 and if a midrange discard/demon lock is viable
People are underestimating how hard it is to discard 6 cards, most of the time you'll just end up discarding the cards that discard your cards. It's not going to work in actual Hearthstone.
The wording on Nether Portal is really vague and unclear. Would it really take that much space to say, "Open a permanent portal that summons two 3/2 imps at the start of your turn"?
Seems extremely powerful, but the trigger is likely much harder to achieve than you think. I mean, what if you discard a card with discard? If you're discarding all your cards your hand could be pretty empty (even with your hero power), so how will you keep up on board?
Definitely need to test it out to see how powerful it is
This card is insanely powerful, discarding 6 cards isn't as easyt as it sems though specially when starting with 1 less card in your hand, discolock will love it though, it repays for the card advangtage lost though discarding, by giving a stream of value all the time..
Absolutely overhyped card. While i don't think it's bad at all, i don't think it's meta-defining. You not only need this card, you also need malchezaars imp to be viable, and he also must stay on board. Without the imp, you simply don't have enough cards to make this card viable at all. You need to have 10 cards, discard the RIGHT cards (and discard is a b**ch, that always works perfectly for your opponent and never for you) and then you also need to play the portal by itself, and it cost 5 mana too. Yes, the value is infinite, and if you manage to play it on turn 5, bam, you won, but still you need to play it. And here's the problem with discard-warlock; you can actually discard the portal too.
It's strong yes, but almost 50% meta-defining? That's far too overhyped for discard, i mean this card!

Overhyped? The card has been out for a few minutes only and we dont know the other 120 or so cards...
Overhyped? hahahaha....ok...based on 2 pages of comments

Is this like "At the start at your every turn, summon 3/2 imps"?
If it's, really good. I was expecting summon all your discarded card.
I´m going to play it in a control warlock with no discard cards except Deathwing :D

The era of discard demonlock is here..let the imps rise :)

Weep, and you weep alone;
For the sad old earth must borrow its mirth,
But has trouble enough of its own.”

Opponent plays a 1/3 on turn 1, if you don't remove it immediately you auto-lose. Where have I seen this fun mechanic before?
Utter garbage, looks like Blizzard's scheme to make Warlock shit in S2 is under way.

Man I love these Quests! The quests are easy to do and build around, and the rewards are insane!

Can Disco-Zoo afford the board space?
Probably will lead to a demon centric discard midrange for this to see play.

Great way to kill yourself with Unlicensed Apothecary.
Obviously hard to know what Warlock actually feels like without PO, especially with more cheap taunt around, but this could be really good.
