You put this in a Handlock deck, as a combo piece alongside Deathwing. Just mulligan away the card when the match starts, and continue with your typical Handlock style of play. The best case scenario is Deathwing while in Jaraxxus mode with the quest up, so you can have perma 6/6s and 2 3/2s. This is the only way i've managed to make this card sort-of viable. You can also tech in soulfire / doomgurad as finishers, or quest helpers.
Because I tried to make it work. I made a bunch of different builds; aggro, midrange, EVERY discard card included, with elemental pack (discarding the 1/2 tokens which you get), I even made a deck with Sense Demons and I only ran Malchezaar's Imp, Lakkari Felhound and Doomguard as Demons so I always had draws with the double discards and it was one of the best tries, but none of these decks work well. Some of them have 50% winrate around rank 15 but it is not too impressive.
There is a build with the Quest (without the quest Zoo/Discolock is not bad) which has decent winrate and it is just me who can't find it or it is just impossible to make a decent deck with the Quest?
I really want to make the Quest work so please share your ideas and decklists and everything about the Quest, maybe we just haven't figured out how to play it properly.
(I don't have Deathwing so I haven't tried that version.)

I'd also like to have a viable quest Warlock to play, but it's looking unlikely this expansion.
The best I've come up with is a more midrange Standard build that includes AoE (2x Hellfire, 1x Twisting Nether) and some heals (2x Earthen Ring, Jaraxxus). In terms of discard, it runs the good ones plus the 3/8 taunt; like Zoo, it runs Voidwalkers, Egg, Pterrodax, Argus, but it doesn't really run many 1-drops and often needs a Hellfire to get the board against a more aggressive deck.
Frankly, it wins lots of its games just by doing the same things a Disco Zoo would, and the quest is irrelevant. One big difference is you can often engineer a game-changing board swing around Twisting Nether, mainly because your opponent never expects you to have it and will flop out big minions one after another without a second thought. Both the Portal and (especially) Eggs are very nice in combination with the AoE.
The main problem is just lack of healing. You usually have to stop tapping before you get the added value of having the Portal out, so there's a gap where you're just top-decking like any other deck would, and a good chance that an aggressive deck will run you over before you can do anything.

My experience was very similar, I only had 2-3 games (I played like 50-60 matches with the different builds) where I won clerly because of the Quest. The lack of neutral healing cards is worse than before the rotation, Mistress of Mixtures and Earthenring Farseer are the two okayish heals. (Vodoo doctor and Gadgetzan Socalite are even weaker) You can't use your hero power and can't use half of the boardclears (and Flame Imp which is really important in the early game) if you don't want to kill yourself.
Lol I knew that this card sucks from the beginning. I was playing discardlock around last 5 months before Ungoro I was finally able to create a deck which is able to go rank 15 to legend it was only weak against Jade Druid and %70 winrate against Pirate warrior. The thing is discolock was fast I was able to finish the opponent at turn 4 or 5 with lucky discard it was not always faster than Pirate warrior but when you tech against pirate warrior it was able to destroy it.
Discard mechanic's secret is getting value at early game you need high and cheap stats on the board and what you are discarding must not effect the stats on the board for early game but this quest is so slow yet reward is slowest reward among all other rewards. What discard mechanic requires is another card like Silverware Golem

Release the Kraken!
Igneous Elemental + Burgly Bully + Deathwing did anyone try this?
Anyone has real success with the quest?
