The hardest quest (yet) to pull off by far, but Malchezaar's Imp can certainly make it happen. The reward is crazy strong, similar in power to Jaraxxus hero power, and will eventually out-value any deck that isn't Jade Druid. The downsides are that it's crap against aggro, and not really useful against decks that aim to OTK you.
If the meta slows down enough for aggro warlock to include this, then this will really amplify the power of that deck in slow matchups. It might also be possible to make a deck that relies purely on surviving and completing this quest, because it's that strong.
It's also worth noting that you can make this card work in a control warlock with just one card: Deathwing. I could even see Wild Renolock using that combo along with more anti-aggro than normal, and just trade away all of that anti-aggro for a Nether Portal in control matchups.
This won't see play in a Zoo deck, that's for sure, discarding 6 cards is no easy task, and the 5 mana cost after, and the 2-3 turns to get it going until you start getting actual value. What is left outside of that ? a control discard deck ? not gonna happen, because discard is random, you end up discarding your discard cards eventually and your entire deck breaks down because you built it with this specific card in mind, people are overestimating it i think.
It would be hilarious if in the process of attempting this quest you actually discard the Nether Portal.

It's actually quite possible to discard Nether Portal, but only AFTER you got it. And no, if you discarded 5 cards and play Doomguard, you NEVER discard Nether Portal, because you can gain it after the discard of two cards. So like he said: it's impossible to discard this card while getting the quest. But sometimes you are also forced to play Soulfire to destroy an minion, and then Nether Portal might be gone too.
And because of this i'm not really a fan of this card. I think that discard-warlock might be good by itself, gaining this effect is often only a tempo-loss and playing this kind of deck is all about tempo, tempo and more tempo.
This card is so bad like the other discard things. The reward isnt even good on curve 2x 3/2s is like 3,5 mana but you pay 5 so if The big reward of this bulshit secret isnt even good turn 5 were youll never be able to pull it of its save to say this is trash.
Yeah you get them every turn but 2x 3/2 is hardly relevant in lategame and to weak in early so this is just dust.

I think discard Lock is the only way I really enjoy playing them soooo....this card makes my nipples hard. Gimme.

Guys, do you understand that "discard 6 cards" is very hard, slow and unreliable quest? This quest will never see a competitive play.
