I have suggestion to remake Purify (and also Priest of the Feast) without removing or replacing them from the expansion. Priest are in the current meta the worst class in the game (both win ratio or pick ratio wise). To help priest even more, blizzard may want to remake the following cards to revive the once dead priest to become top tier class once again and put the end to community rant of the worst card class for the priest in the whole expansion, as an insulted priest player.
Purify (2 Mana spell): Silence a minion and sets it's attack to 4, if it already has 4 attack destroy it. Draw a card.
Tempo swing for priest, can be used on northshire to become 4/3 if you no longer need the passive (to trade better with zoo/totem golem for example) or destroy any 4 attack minion while silencing it before it dies since priest have no way to deal with 4 attack minions, whilst cycling through your deck at the same time.
Priest of the Feast (3 mana 2/4 minion): Whenever you cast a spell, release 3 pulse that restore 1 health to a random friendly character. If your healing deals damage, it target enemies instead.
Healing version of flamewaker for priest. Healing your hero only is boring (since we already got the 4 mana 3/6 similar C'thun card). It potentially can trigger northshire 3 times (if it is still injured) netting you 3 cards, or buff C'thun when comboed with the latter card. Even useful in OTK control priest with auchenai or embrace the shadow. The 3 extra damage can lead you to clear the board against zoo (instead of using circle of healing), or pushes more damage with flash heal/mind blast OTK.
I hope someone in card making department (even better, Ben Brode) see this and may consider those card to be remade. Bump up and share your opinion about the remake. It matters the most. Thanks
shadow madness is a buff, if you silence that minion it goes back to your opponent.
So you can play a 4-mana card followed by a 2-mana card on a <3-attack minion, and still not completely remove it from board. Is this how Blizzard devs play priest?

One of the best parts of this video (well, actually one of the worst :P) is when he says something like "if you silence Argent Watchman you get a 2 mana 2/4, which is fantastic and that wins games". Seriously? A 2/4 minion for 2 mana AND 2 cards (he is talking about using the Argent Watchman with the card Silence here, not Purify) wins games??? Meanwhile, for example, shamans play Totem Golem on turn 2 for 2 mana and 1 overload, but that also buffs your Tunnel Trogg if you played one (or two with The Coin) on turn 1, is a 3/4 and is only one card, druids use Innervate to play a 4 cost minion for the same amount of cards on turn 2, and warriors play a 3/3 with charge for only one card (Alexstrasza's Champion)... hell, even priest can play a 2 mana 2/4 but with taunt (which makes it a lot better) currently now in a dragon deck using only one card (Wyrmrest Agent), and as we already know they are having a very bad moment on ladder. This guy, OMG, he clearly represents the worst part of this community. He is completely clueless about the game and still talks like if he knew more than others, but ok, I know, sadly you can find this kind of people everywhere.

With Earie Statue you have basically a 6 mana 7/7 you can play already on turn 4!!!!! There is nothing alike in the entire.....WAITAMINUTE!!!!!

I think it is the class challenge. From what I've seen the first wing has Priest of The Feast and Onyx Bishop as a reward, so hopefully none of us have to get Purify!
I can see this played in a deck with cards like ancient watcher, nat the darkfisher (priest needs a 2/4 and coin nat into this isnt bad). generally silencing a minion that has had an effect, like cabal shadow priest has no poor effect so at worst it is 2 mana draw a card... at best it can make a 7/7 capable of attacking which previously had text not allowing i to, as well as drawing a card. People are quick to overlook cards, but this may be fine as a one of or staple two of in silence priest lists.
I think the 1 mana cycle is too powerful argument is a bad one for two reasons.
1. Combo priest is one of the worst combo decks, so let people use purify for something it wasn't designed for, don't see a problem there.
2. While I'm unsire if 1 mana, draw a card is even too powerful in the first place in priest, you do need a minion on the board and you do need to be able to silence it without hurting it. To me that seems harder to pull off than have Runic Egg die.
I do think the "people like winning with bad cards" argument is totally fair. Though I would change that to "people like winning with convoluted and/ or surprising strategies." which is not the same thing. Individual cards designed FOR that strategy still need to sufficiently support the stategy.
And that's where this card really hurts for me. If I would build a silence priest deck, I DOUBT I WOULD PUT THIS CARD IN THE DECK. THAT is how bad it is. A 4/5 for 4 mana (Ancient Watcher) is NORMAL. now it requires two cards. A 7/7 for 6 (Eerie Statue) is only slightly overstatted, but now needs a two card combo. A 7 mana 6/6 (Corrupted Healbot) is straight up bad even if it was just one card. Don't even get me started on Nat, the Darkfisher.
The upside is that some of these are able to attack a turn (or two) earlier than they otherwise would have, and that is pretty big. But still. This card just doesn't cut it for the deck it was designed for. And that's sad. Something simple like "Silence a friendly minion, it gains "whenever this minion attacks, draw a card"" would have made it so much better for people who like weird decks, like me.
Which reminds me, Blessing of Wisdom is a cantrip that requires you to have a minion stick, isn't it? That's 1 mana too. So, no, I don't agree with that argument at all,
not sure if this has already been suggested, but what if purify was changed from being a flat out silence to a selectable silence.
What if you could use it to remove a single buff on a minion. For example, say you buff silent watcher with an argent defender because you don't have your purify yet, then when you draw it you can choose to remove the don't attack part but leave the +1/+1 and taunt in place.
You could even technically use it on Ragnaros, removing the can't attack but leaving the 8 damage to a random character part.
could also help with things like when a minion gets humility'd or equality (not they ever really live through an equality but you get the idea). Your opponent could be a priest buffing with power word glory, Or if your minions get frozen by a mage. could be expensive for just one unfreeze but at the right moment could provide lethal or kill the doomsayer waiting to clear a board of frozen minions. Not having to totally silence a minion and being able to remove a debuff could actually be a helpful tool.
this change could be O/P but it would always require atlas two cards and would remove some (not all) of the situational value of the card.
