In the last five games at Rank 10, I have faced five decks in a row that featured the Naga/Giants package, from FOUR different classes that had no business running them. They're just one of those things that's so strong, why wouldn't you run it? I don't know why they changed Naga, but it needs to change back asap!

Life before death. Strength before weakness. Journey before destination.
I can't say I'm an experienced player, but it really isn't worth it for most classes to run that package. In itself, it's not even that strong - if you draw well, it can be godlike, but at other times you're just stuck with some bad cards that don't synergise too well with the rest of your deck. I've never really had too much trouble dealing with it, but then again that could just be because I drew lucky. I've seen my opponent stuck with several unplayable giants in their hand just because they don't have the Sea Witch.
Honestly, I'm just glad that that card's finally seeing some sort of love. I loved it since it first came out but could never find a use for it.
Of course, I could be completely wrong, but that's just my experience.
I've honestly played a good amount of games over the last few days, and trust me this isn't the first thread I see about this, but I haven't encountered this package once. And I reckon that if it'd actually be broken people would be running it at high legend.
So blizz hotfix Naga sea witch, when? Link to those notes please?
There isn't any patch notes about this change. Blizzard just modified Naga Sea Witch's effect with the Patch 9.0.0.20457 (08/08/2017) without telling us (their playerbase) anything.
Naga broke wild and needs his buff to be reverted. The pros are calling naga broken as well and wild has become a joke like a bad tavern brawl. Ben Brode is watching naga, I hold hope that he gets reverted or nerfed.

Read the post above yours. It has been nerfed. Wasn't that strong anyway as the vast majority of games in wild are vs. DK priest.

I played the Naga-Giant-combo with Hunter and the deck is cheesy, but no op in any way. I played it myself and it get crushed by aggro most of the time. I stuck with it a hole day at around rank 12-13, switched to PW again the next day and climbed with ease to rank 10 in about one hour. So for me the Naga-Giant-Combo is not op, because it's slow, not consistent enough and there are enough counters.
Besides become rushed down by aggro, all "hard" board clears like Brawl, Pyro + Equality, Lightbomb etc. can kill your gameplan in one turn too.
I hope this combo will stay, because then there is an additional way to beat up Jade Druids, which there are a lot in Wild too at the moment.
Blizzard should make a special stream lessons or youtube videos in which they explain the the only way hs should be played is with supa dupa 1000 IQ control/combo homebrewed decks and 30 minutes long match is a minimum time period that proves you're not braindead blah blah something etc.
@OldKeith: Yes, the combo worked most of the time for me - but this doesn't matter if an aggro deck kills you on the turn or the turn after you played the giants - or the priests kills all your board after you played them. ^^

I modestly played my own Hunter version up to r15. It is far from autopilot, because you have to draw carefully and plan ahead your burst accordingly to your opponent's possible answers.
I didn't try with other classes yet.
So far, the combo is powerful, but counters are many (board clears).
Aggro is a highly unfavourable matchup.
And if you fail with your first Giant burst, chances are high that the game is over (although Hunter can try with some more lucky draws and Deathstalker).
Strong, currently trendy, but it will be absorbed by the meta very soon because of Aggro and Priests, and it is not more cancerous than PW or Jade by far.
I haven't seen a single deck using that combo yet, neither have any of my friends that I asked about this. I suppose this isn't a thing at rank 10 and above.^^

Why Rogue is my favourite class:
My submission for this week's card design competition.

Fuck cubelock
That Naga/Giant package is good even in Rogue.
The Naga Sea Witch Giants combo was absolutely amazing the first time I saw it. Got completely sick of it 2 times later.
This combo has been around for a long time now if it was so OP it wouldn't be happening now.
It's a strong combo but it's insanely greedy, it requires a very lucky draw like big priest or any other greedy deck of the past, get over it.
Salt forum is that way ---->

Still I've encountered this combo a few times this month and only lost once to T5 shinanigans. It's still inconsistent.
Play Big Priest. Obsidian Statue will solve all your problems.

This space intentionally left blank.
Oppressive, unfun uninteractive =/= good deck
It's just oppressive and unfun.
Turn 4 Coin Sea Witch Clockwork Giant Clockwork Giant Sea Giant...
That's more oppressive than handlock ever was.
I mean:
We need a turn 4 neutral Wrath of God-like card to deal with 3-4 turn 4 giants.
It's just a really bad idea.
...
Hunter has Tracking, King's Elekk and Stitched Tracker to dig for answers, giants or nagas -- and Explosive Trap, Freezing Trap, Deadly Shot and Animal Companion.
Warlock can play giants unironically if they don't draw Naga.
Druid can ramp and has natural affinity for Arcane Giants if they don't draw Naga.
Mage has duplicate effects abound to resummon free giants or the nagas.
Priests can eternal servitude and ressurect naga or giants.
leave the giants alone let them have some fun :D
