Dragon priest is actually still playable but its NOT as strong as before. However, some of the new minions and spell synergy can help you in the early game. You also get stuck havng to include a couple of big dragons like Alex/Malygos/etc or you wont have enough. Its fun though. Just not super competitive but I dont even care anymore.
Also, in my Europe account I made a spell-havy deck with Lyra, prophet vellen and some spells thats a blast to play. No one is ready for spell priest. Its gimmicky but fun - and thats what counts. So yeah, Priest is fine IMO.
Even with the loss of Reno, Sylvanas, and Entomb, I'd say Priest is still doing pretty ok. Raza, Kazakus, and N'Zoth still add plenty of value to Priest decks.

Isn't the game so much better once you stop caring? Numbness is bliss.
Was thinking of quest Priest with Shadowform earlier. But, then I found out there aren't any good Deathrattlem, and Museum Curator isn't around to help.
I really hope so. It was the most unfun and trollish deck to play against. With all the removal and answers I"m so glad the rain of dragon priest is over!!!! Long live the new meta!!!

Yes it is - because its basically 99.7766% luck. You either draw answers or you dont. You either get tempo or you dont. Accepting that there is only a very small amount you can do makes it much better. Hence, I play whatever decks tickle my fancy and those decks are probably bad. Fuck it. And fuck trying to deal with cancer decks. Just play whatever and have some fun. Does that answer your question?
I am having a blast playing Priest, it's been always my "main" class and was hesitant to craft Awaken the Makers but finally went for it and have to say it works kind of nice, still need to find the right spot for a controlish deck that has a better win condition than "Healing to 40" with Amara, Warden of Hope
Crystalline Oracle is cool, works wonders in the stealer Priest deck and gives you nice resources which is kind of nice.
Shadow Visions is great with the lost of Excavated Evil, you basically have "on demand" spells with it which is nice in many situations.
Again, I feel as though I need to rebuttal the rhetoric of this thread.
The deck attached below is what I have been using for some 20 games now. I think I've went 13 and 7 with it. I've been having trouble drawing Kazakus and Raza on curve, which I believe is a detriment to the deck. I enjoy playing the deck nonetheless.
Anyhow if you want a very crude strategy on how to use it, feel free to visit its page. Apologies for the crude rundown, but I'm not a major deck poster on this site.

I win due to skill and lose due to bad RNG. :D

I believe the weird spot now is the lack of Entomb but it was a bit OP so it's nice, instead for value you can now play Medivh, the Guardian with Free From Amber and Mind Control or even a Kazakus Potion.
I wouldn´t say Priest is death, but it isn't amazingly powerful that's for sure.
