He seems like a super duper fun legendary in Wild, and I've seen little to no discussion about him, ever. I did post a thread months ago, and I remember a few people did say he did have potential
I don't worry much about standard mode anyway, because with Thief Rogue in wild, I'm able to pull out Wild class legendaries for even more fun!
What do you think? Should I do it?
My second consideration right now is Lady in White, too.
Alrighty! Well, I opened Trade Prince Gallywix quite some time ago, and I too enjoy playing Thief Rogue (though I don't play it super competitively). I've found that, for the most part, Trade Prince Gallywix is powerful only when you're already ahead: if you're behind, your opponent usually either has enough of a board to trade into him, or pressure your health, or they can just avoid playing spells, since they don't need to reclaim the board. Plus, the synergy with Thief Rogue isn't as strong as you might expect, since it comes quite a bit later (and notably, a turn after the ideal cost-reduction turn), and worse still, your opponent can decide what to give you.
That said, he has won me games, and is also great fun in a number of Tavern Brawls. Overall, I definitely would have suggested trying him out if you already had him, but while he can be a lot of fun, I don't think he's worth the 1600 dust.
Today in my free brawl pack I got Barongeddon, then I had a cup of fresh green tea. As a result of that, I think Priest is OP because my keyboard is not a mechanical one. I hope Blizzard will address this issue.
It depends on how you build your deck. If it is a tempo-midrange deck (quite doable with thief rogue) then he is really good. His stats are perfect and his ability makes him a nightmare for anyone not significantly ahead on the board.
Giving opponents coins is rarely a drawback (but a mark of a good player if you recognise when not to play him), and of course he has the best entrance music!
Honestly, I wouldn't really craft Gallywix over something like Azalina Soulthief, simply because it can be unreliable and gives your opponent a coin.
I recently pulled a Lilian Voss, and it seems to have pretty good synergy in my opinion, so if you want a card that can be played better and isn't wild, then that is a good option.
I wouldn't craft him. He's a good and fun card but those types of cards don't even come close to winning you games especially in a tier 5 deck like thief rogue :(
Haven't been able to make lady in white work although I have not been trying all that much. Got too many decks to write guides for :p
Honestly I'd save your dust and try to go for something fun but also more viable! ^^

Honestly, the only question is if you think a new legendary for thief rogue is a worthy craft. It's a meme card for a meme deck. Ask yourself if you're a hardcore memer enough to spend dust on such a thing
He is basically one-sided Lorewalker Cho and as said, only good when ahead. Also you already have so much cards in thief deck that generate other cards that this might be over the top. If you would have him already, i suppose why not play it, but to craft it just for this, nah, waste of dust.
i think for wild it's better to use cheap generators so that you can reduce the thieved cards cost with an on curve Ethereal Peddler, Galywyx assumes you can go to a very late game and i've found that that's not possible with thief rogue unless you manage to really feed a Spectral Cutlass
As someone who has been playing extensively burgle Rogue in wild after getting a golden Tess, I swapped Nexus-Champion with Gallywix due to anti synergy with Cutlass. And well, can't really say Gallywix helped me much, I often got milled with him and giving them coins backfired too. Thus, can't really recommend crafting him, you're better off with Azalina or Voss.

That's really interesting. I don't have The Prince so I can't test it out. I wonder how many 'other class' cards on average you'd get.
A similar effect on a neutral legendary that I DO have and can attest is extraordinarily high value in Thief Rogue is Azalina Soulthief.

I just realized another potential option for my dust: Yogg Saron. I'm not sure which lies higher on the 'cool' or 'fun' factor anymore.
Should I craft him instead? (Maybe in Sherazin Rogue, Thief Rogue, Control Priest). Is his RNG too unreliable following the WitchWood expansion?
Yogg would probably just hit himself in the face with a fireball
