Or you could not worry about fringe situations and play the cards that will do well against most decks in most situations. Also, you can always not screw yourself over by playing this card, by not playing it.
But yeah, it's a 10 mana spell that does no one thing very well. Mostly a yogg buff imo.

This is an insane and OP card, it should only deal five, gain five armor and summon a 5/5 ghoul. The drawing five cards thing is way to OP in my opinion, with this card, druid can dominate!

One of the best comments about this card. It's this kind of thinking that leads to powerful, cleverly synergistic decks.
Its the definition of a playable card, if you have no ten mana in your hand except for this one, just play it, otherwise, play something else.
why is this a spell and not a minion??
If it was a Battlecry Minion it can get pulled out by Dirty Rat or even a Y'Shaarj, Rage Unbound / Giant Anaconda if your playing a Big Druid deck.
All you have to worry about is Nerubian Unraveler , Counterspell and Mana Bind .
Sprint+ Shield Block + Firelands Portal = Deal 5 damage. Draw 5. Gain 5 Armor. Summon a 5-drop.

Topdecking this off Astral Communion will be the greatest feeling ever.
Everyone is so positive about this card 😂. Ok this card is huge value but it costs too much. Druid does not play high cost cards like that (at least now it doesnt't).
I think this card won't see any play (You can kill me once it comes out and sees play) .
I have played so many ramp druid in the last few days and this card is exactly what it needs. The deck lacks card draw outside of nourish and this card would fit so many needs that the deck has its not even funny. Ramp Druid could play this card in 5 or 6 turns depending on the draw and then be totally set up for the rest of the game in terms of card draw without much of a tempo loss because of the 5 damage, the 5 armor, and the 5/5 on board.
we will see a new kind of druid next patch, since jade will get countered by that card that destroys 1 costs spells/cards( cant remember), anyways, lot of experimentation tl;dr.
But you are right its too high of a mana cost
