Played against a shudderwock shaman who managed to play 3 loatheb before his shudder against my combo druid. I think it really pissed him off when after using shudder I used aviana into kun into ysiel and maly for lethal and still had all my spells reduced to one. I know it'd piss me off like hell if I were in his shoes but it was satisfying.
I'm on Highlander Priest and I queue into another Priest. Generally when I queue into the mirror it is either Gala or Highlander, I don't see Resurrect all that often but that is what I queued into this time...
Turn 2: I play Imprisoned Vilefiend
Turn 4: I play Twilight Drake
Turn 5: They coin out Khartut Defender
Turn 5: I hit their Defender with Vilefiend for 3. Cast Shadow Madness on it. Send the Defender and Twilight Drake into their face, then I use Penance to kill the Khartut Defender while it is still under my control and I get to keep the Reborn copy.
Turn 6: They cast Breath of the Infinite to eliminate my Vilefiend and Khartut defender.
Turn 7: They drop a Psychopomp on board. Once they realize their Graveyard is empty due to my Shadow Madness/Penance play, they concede.
One of the quickest Priest Mirror match-ups I've ever played.
Happiness is being knocked down to 4 life by a demon Hunter, but top decking zeph into bloodlust to deal 19 damage out of nowhere because he ignored my board. #reversaloffortune
I've been having an absolute blast playing thief priest! My favourite thing to do is shadow madness and then kill folks deathrattle prime minions, to steal their primes. Even if I loose, seeing the prime shuffled into my deck gives me a lot of joy.
A pack from brawl contains a legendary and finally after 4 years playing...
The reward should be higher though...
Are golden cards counted for this? I've got everything I need for completing this quest but hadn't got the reward. Is it possible to see if you have already completed a quest?
Finally made it to legend! I only started playing HS this January as almost f2p and crafted my first competitive deck (a cheap quest druid) in February, didn't get too far with it (wasn't playing too much either) and it became too weak after the April rotation. Switched to primarily BG for a while and then crafted a Spell Druid around April-20. Only managed to get to Diamond 3 in April, but this month I improved a bit my handling of the deck, slowly rose to Diamond 1 and this is where the nerve-wrecking grind started. I had 5-6 sessions where I recorded big loss streaks followed by win streaks etc... and always ended back up on Diamond 1. Until this morning when I won 2 games, lost the first time I was 1 game away from legend, beat a DH next and in the final game against a Highlander Priest I barely managed to kill my opponent at a moment where I was down to single digits health and having drawn my whole deck already. OMG the tension!!!!!
Not sure what is next, I think I'll now craft and try another deck that doesn't seem so hopeless and nerve-wrecking when you don't draw your combo stuff....
Oh and some salt: My free legendary was The Beast. Thank you so much Blizzard ;)
When, after an 0-2 start, you go to 7 wins in Arena.
Last game was wicked close. I was playing against a Shaman under 10 life. My last play was late in the game: I was at 20+ life, his hand was empty, his board was filled with totems and a 2/2, and I had an Imprisoned Observer about to proc next round for a full clear. If I play anything or even ping a minion, he'll be able to trade some 1/1s, then play whatever minion he draws. But if I do nothing, I'll strand whatever card he had in his hand, clear his whole board, and be up a 4/5 plus whatever I develop out of my hand.
He topdecks Bloodlust, GG Kiblerlaugh. theBitterFig fans hate to see it, but I still think I made the right play. It'd have been nice to get to 8 wins, but avoiding the 0-3 police was enough.
Damn, it was tough this month but finally made right in the middle of the season. Today I started at D2 with 2 stars and played about 45 games to reach legend. Damn how many times I bounced back and fourth, sometimes till D4 and back to D1. But at the end of the day, when I reached D1 again I decided to take a pause and returned after a couple of hours for the final push. What a relief!
Got to diamond 10 after beating handbuff mech pally, secret mage and quest mage. Extremely satisfying against decks that need no brain at all to main but also had quite a bit of luck in a couple of occasion (and the quest mage was f*ing stupid, which isn't really unexpected). No idea if I'll push to legend, the bad draws of this deck can really make me tear my hair out.

To get this quest done you need to "Collect every card in the Classic Set. Only one of each card is required, and may be golden or non-golden" It basically comes down to getting all the Legendaries + at least 1 copy of every epic (assuming you already got 1 copy of all commons and rared for sure) You can't see anywhere if you have already got the reward for this unique quest
I just went 27-3 with highlander hunter in legend. It felt well deserved since I had this awful lost streak of 10 games, all of which just running into people with the nuts.
Just had a fun one with my own Galakrond Rogue brew (with stealth package, plus Dragon's Hoard - I don't follow what's being run competitively so unsure if more competitive versions are actually running such a high roll card, but daaamn that card is fun when it high rolls.
Anywho, playing against a highlander priest, and while I haven't put them away yet I have the best of it. Draw Dragon's Hoard, as part of my turn play it, end up choosing Bandersmosh as the best of the 3. First transformation... Archmage Antonidas. Did I mention I had an Umbral Skulker plus Shadowstep in hand? Yeaaah, that game ended quickly. XD
I was getting rushed by a Demon Hunter with a massive divine shielded Questing Adventurer and 4 tokens, I played a Rotnest Drake and it killed the Adventurer :D
Playing my Big Nozdormu Paladin deck against your typical do-everything DH. With Nozdormu in hand, I tutor a Baron Geddon with Call to Adventure on 3. He proceeds to hit me with his Umberwing weapon For 2, bringing his battlefiend to 4/2 and hitting me with that + the two 1/1s. I play Nozdormu on 4, bringing us to 10 mana. He emotes “thank you,” plays Altruis, Satyr, Twin Slice, Twin Slice, and some other bullshit to hit me for 15 damage, bringing me to 3 life. I hit his face for 8, drop Baron Geddon and play Lightforged Blessing. Clears his board, heals me for 14 (16-2 to my own face). He concedes.
Quest paladin? How about questing quest libram paladin!
Can't believe I actually pulled it off and won!
(In case it's not clear how this works: you complete the quest, copy a bunch of Libram of Wisdom, play Questing Adventurer, copy questing adventurer each turn and play as many librams of wisdom as possible each turn)
I'm trying to clear the Plague Lords on heroic and managed to get a draw with Eye for an Eye
It displayed "Defeat", but then kicked me back to the menu showing the Plague lord at -1 Health. It let me start the fight again but the boss instantly died. Sweet!

Today was strange. I've never beaten a Galakrond Rogue as Highlander Priest.
Faced 3 in a row today, won all 3. It was quite the confidence boost!
