Heya man ~ sorry to hear about your dreadful Christmas. I'm only 25 but I've gone through my fair share on nightmare holidays so I do sympathise. All I can do is wish you well and just tell you to remember the good times while looking ahead for a brighter future.
Sadly the people on the other side of the screen can't know what you're going through, which creates a disconnect between players and makes it easier to view others as less than human when all you are exposed to is a screen-name. I went through the typical rage phase when I was younger as well but I found that as I grew older the feelings of frustration tended to dissipate or didn't surface at all. I don't know what was the catalyst for the change but it could have been any number of factors ranging from maturity with age, dealing with stressful situations as an adult or the combination of work and higher education that dominated the 'what is deemed important parts of my mind'.
I'm currently employed part-time while studying my PhD in advanced cybercrime and I honestly don't even feel I have time to care. I've found my niche in the wild community and I just enjoy the game as is (although I'm not above squelching someone haha).

34, married for over 9 years now, 1 kid with a second on the way. Work full time in management. Boring but it treats me and my family well and I'm very grateful for it.
I really really hope life gets a little easier for you OP!! There are easier days ahead for sure.
30 year old man, girlfriend and no kids. I work as an academic in a vaccine production. I usually wake up between 4.30 or 5 AM before I wake my girlfriend at 6AM, and that's when I play a few games.
As for BM I've accepted that the internet is filled with idiots. Not much you can do about it. Hell, I even BM a little once in a while.
Just graduated with an IT degree and landed a data processing specialist gig so I'm super-stoked! Have played since GvG but typically only play 3 games a day due to time constraints (had both kids while a student) but it is my favorite game of all time, overtaking Super Metroid!
I am a mid to late 30s IT nerd supporting the health care industry. I'm a father of 2 whose peak rank on ladder was rank 1, 3 stars.. then it all came unraveled.
I probably play Hearthstone for more than 1 game at a time maybe twice or three times a week. I do love this game. I'm just not possessed of the same amount of gaming time as I once had.
