I can speak from experience when I say I don't think these people have a problem with warlock it's just frustrating when you queue into the same deck over and over and over. Luckily I haven't seen much warlock after the Nerf it's just been tons of secret mage. Which sucks cause I want to play slower decks but it looks like that won't be happening :|
Just feel sorry for such players. Typically, when they behave in such a way it is an indication that their real-life sucks in one way or another. Just be happy that you are better off! ^^

I think people are just tilted that cubelock dodged nerf rotation and Donais comming out saying "cubelock is not even under the 12 best decks".
People where hoping for a meta shift after nerfs were announced, now they basically get warlock only from Priest/warlock only. Its no wonder people got salty.
On the other hand @ op i cant remember i got a request after a game were i not got insulted and i play since early beta, hearthstone community is pretty toxic imo.
I switched from excepting freind requests a week later that way you get a bigger f list and people forgot already that they were mad at you.
You can't blame people for hating you for playing the popular cancer netdeck of the month lol. It's just broken atm and popular, not to mention awful to play against. People don't hate warlock as a class, but cubelock as a deck.
Ahaha, these kinds of things are bound to happen to every person with "main" classes eventually. Whenever a class lags behind the pack, the devs release some OP cards for them a few expansions down the line. Then your class becomes "brainless cancer". You should be thankful that, when it happened to you, at least the offending deck in question requires a bit of brainpower
I have combined 3k ranked wins in two classes. Those two classes are priest and druid. You can take a guess how many FUN mails and comments I had this year...
Your history with the class is entirely irrelevant. What do I care that you've played the class even when it was bad? The problem is it's oppressive and broken right NOW. Just as you hated playing against shaman/priest at their peaks, now people hate playing against you because warlock decks prevent fun or interesting decks from existing. Every game against warlock is the same because of recruit - they always get both voidlords, they always get both doomguards. Unless you can transform them or steal them or somehow silence the cube (good luck with that considering it will 90% of the time be dark pacted the same turn it is played) with mind control you're fucked.
edit: that said, people who add an opponent after a game to curse them out are pathetic, and that includes winners who want to rub it in. If it really bugs you then just always instantly hit the red X.

I definitely get insulted if I play meta deck... but then month ago I played an off meta Silver Hand Recruit Paladin at rank 3-5 and got lots of people who sent friend request and like "This deck is cool, can you give me a deck code?", but when I was playing Aggro Druid during KoFT druidstone it was lots of hate, and they didn't really care that I was playing similar deck for a few months before that, because "Boo Druid"
And here come the kiddo I mentioned above. WLCM u have been expected!
Sure you look very smart and mature with you topic begging for people to respect you and your stupid deck.
You clearly have never played Cubelock... If you think the deck requires no skill whatsoever, you are probably a PW main. And if you really need someone to blame, how about you hate the people who let this deck become a thing instead of the people using it?
Replying to Ch4ce: generally, nobody should even get near Casual with meta decks/netdecks. That should be the fun mode where people can relax and enjoy the game for what it is. Instead, today in Casual I faced 4 out of 9 Big Priests while trying my Thief Priest and budget Spell Hunter... Pretty disappointing.
Cubelock isn't brainless, nor is it fun to play against.
Hate adds are an unfortunate part of the game, and posts like this only draws people in to either cheer your cause (which does nothing but brings people together to all agree) or to rally against it (which also does nothing, since it's just people being salty about how they can't deal with a warlock-strong meta)
I will say that the argument that "It's such-and-such class's time to shine," is terrible, because it doesn't look for a balanced meta but a meta favoring a certain class. We don't need to give every class their chance to be OP and dominant, what we need is the most balanced meta possible, in which all classes are viable. I know it's not a simple task, or Blizzard would have done it long ago.
Curvestone, Jadestone, etc. are all examples of what doesn't work in Hearthstone, not what each class should get at some time during the lifetime of the game.

Rage quitting: the best way to ensure your opponent knows they beat a giant baby.
This thread is meaningless. There will always be whiners that will cry about ANY deck. ANY. It doesn't matter if it reguires skill or not. And that will never change. I can't see the future where people will realise that there have tobe Aggro,Midrange,Control,Combo,Tempo or varriations of these archetypes to make game fun, competitive and diverse
Cubelock is legit whether people like it or not. You can use it to climb all you want.
But if you use it in unranked whilst I'm trying to find out the key weaknesses in my Toggwoggle Pirate Priest or Lorewalker Burn Paladin or Beast Recruit Mage, I'll be pretty damn pissed.
Exactly lol. I am a control player, and I've always liked Warlock so I play Cubelock and enjoy it on ladder. It's a fun challenge to see how to beat an entire meta that techs against you, with silence and secrets and Hexes/Polymorphs. HOWEVER, PEOPLE THAT PLAY META DECKS IN CASUAL ARE ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE HUMAN BEINGS. Sometimes I just want to do cool things like play Temporus Velen OTK, but can't because I'm facing a board full of 'roided out murlocs or 6 doomguards before turn 7. Boundaries, people.
I stopped playing. Blizzard destroyed aggro and warlock has no real bad matchup. If you play mirror, it all comes down to RNG (who draws something first). And to play only against locs is super boring. Well guys, the most boring and most stale meta is coming for two months at least.
No one is specifically hating you or other lock players they are just hating how brainless these decks can be. I agree that lock really isn't that bad but because you only play the cubelock you haven't really had the chance to actually feel the rage that comes along with losing to decks like that. That kid didn't have the right or need to do what he did to you but on the other hand you should at least try to play some other types of decks. There are other types of decks that are fun to play as well.
just hating how brainless these decks can be
getting so damn sick of every deck that does well, or isn't the deck that the poster isn't playing is "brainless"
Guess what snowflake ... THIS GAME IS ESSENTIALLY BRAINLESS. There really isn't much of an IQ requirement to play Hearthstone. You play the cards you have, and they do what they do. "Hey look .. this one deals 3 damage to everything, or this one gives me my weapon, or this one draws some cards" ... seriously .. just stop it. Make a counter deck. Play what you like and have fun. Or go play chess if you want a game that actually requires critical thinking .. but stop with the "brainless" bullshit

1. Cubelock has numerous bad matchups.
2. The 9 most successful decks are all aggro (or tempo).
3. Mirrors usually come down to who is the better player (assuming Gul'dan, N'Zoth, Rin, the Lackeys and the 2 or 4 demons are not in the bottom of your deck).
4. It's funny to see you talk about a stale meta while there are 18 decks with a positive winrate right now.
Literally not a single sentence of yours was correct. That takes almost as much skill as piloting Pirate Warrior.
No one cares how much time you've been playing Warlock. Now you're playing the strongest deck, with broken mechanics, and of course you wll be hated for that. If you're playing cancer, deal with it, because people always get annoyed facing the same broken netdecks all the time.
In my case, i don't care about what people play, except autistic decks like quest mage... that people can go fuck themselves and play solitaire.
List of braindead cancer decks according to HS players in this meta: Big priest (stupid highroll deck), Spiteful priest (also stupid highroll deck), Cubelock (broken highroll deck too) , Aggro pally (nerf call to arms plz) , Murloc (nerf call to arms part 2 maybe also divine favor too), Secret mage (secrets are bullshit and unfun), Exodia mage (bullshit win condition that can't be stopped). Anything I missed?
tl;dr play whatever the fuck you want and stop worrying about what others think
It's just hate because Warlock got the Priest treatment in KOFT and now K&C. They got good cards and for Warlock it got everything it needed for a control lock to be viable again since the Molten Giant nerfs.
1. Loads of good healing? ✓
2. Powerful early game removal? ✓
4. Decent taunts to halt aggression? ✓
3. A strong late-game? ✓
It happens everytime a class gets good cards, that's just how most people react. It's kinda arbitrary but you kinda can't blame them..Cubelock, Giantlock and control lock are all stupidly powerful for a control deck. You tell me what's worse, dying on turn 5 or a slow and agonizing death...
On Topic. I'm not sure why people are still hating warlocks... Most of Paladin builds are even favored against Warlocks.
