The surprise of the week is the incoming of Face hunter and that in the 53k games sample priest is more played than Paladin.
Shaman has also a win ratio of 54.83% ( 56.2% not counting mirror match) That are alarming numbers. Too close to red lines that blizzard has said it has before intervene...
In my experience though the meta is really fun, every day something different is happening and each rank is different, I feel like I have had more success with experiments than in a while in standard, though wild is feeling a bit stale right now to me. Maybe because more people are trying to seriously play wild right now because of shamanstone. I got rank 15-5 in a few hours with murloc paladin the other day and since have fallen back down because I play different stuff each day, but the fact that me on a whim playing murloc pally and rankng up huge shows just how inconsistent and interesting this meta is, maybe people who like to farm ranks hate it but it is great for someone who wants to try stuff. I think that maybe in a week or two people will decide on what beats shaman and it will settle but I think until then any data on the current meta is static. so maybe shaman is too good, but I think that we will deal.

Just fill your deck with one drops, that is creative deck design, right?
Totem golem is fine. Nerf the others all you want, but leave it alone.
I hate Mid Shaman very, very much and I still agree with this. It's strong, but Shaman was still fair after it was introduced. Trogg might be fine too, honestly. Thing from Below is the big problem (need to protect a Mana Tide Totem? Have a 0 mana 5/5 taunt!)
1- Thing From Hell must be in hand for receive the mana discount.
2- Totem Golem overload 2.
3- Trogg 1/2 instead 1/3.
4- FF cost 5 manas overload 2.
5- Spirit claws 2 durability, cost 2 or a least overload 1.
The only needed nerf is the FF, the others are fine, strong but fine how about instead of nerfs we give cards with the same power level to rogue, Paladin and priest??

Yeah, agreed. I think shaman is ridiculous right now, but totem golem is fine.
Too many hero power synergies and thing from below are the main culprits.
All this said, at least shaman is a fair bit slower and it's very obvious at the lower ranks that it has become a somewhat trickier deck to pilot. So while it is still tier 0, it's not as frustrating as before. I can imagine that at the competitive level of legend it is very boring however.
2. 3/4 for 4 mana? You cannot even play it on turn 2 as it would kill your turn 3. That card would be dead.
3. That does not change a lot. Most classes can deal 3 damage as easy as 2 damage (Frostbolt, Fiery War Axe, Lightning Bolt, …). The problem of the card is the attack, not the health.
4. Flamewreathed Faceless is not even played in most decks because it is too slow. You want to make it even slower now? 6 mana 7/7 is a good, but no great card. Nobody would play war golems.
5. Spirit claws would not work with overload or higher mana costs. Besides that it is not always a 3/3 weapon. Actually I like that card because it reduces the amount of face decks on ladder.
Also you have to consider that shaman has the worst basic set and the worst hero power of all classes and one of the best basic card just got nerfed. We can discuss one point of the list but just 2 nerfs would put the class on priest tier.

I actually think the first four are fine and if you remember Shaman had everything above and was not out of hand... before Karazhan. The only one I would do is 5.
I'd make the bonus +1 attack instead of +2. Less board-swing RNG potential and less overall power.
(An aside: Already the spell totem is a "good" one to get due to things like LS and especially Maelstrom. Spirit Claws is just over the top with making Air totem stupidly good versus others, making it 2/3 with SP will help a bit while still rewarding including Thalnos, Drake + it even leaves some RNG factor there, just not as massive).
The big problem with Midrange Shaman is that it has no weak matchups (outside Freeze Mage, which is pretty bad against everything else). Traditionnally, aggro decks lose against control, and midrange decks lose against aggro. The thing is, with extremely aggressive starts (Tunnel Trogg, Totem Golem), efficient removal and board control (Spirit Claws, Maelstrom Portal, Thing from Below) and value plays (Thunder Bluff Valiant, Feral Spirit, Fire Elemental), Shaman has it all. It's a Midrange deck (inherently good against Control) that does not lose to Aggro, and has enough early pressure to aggro out other Midrange decks, thus pushing everything out of the meta.
Come rotation, unless they're replaced, the powerful early starts, and the best value card, will be gone, turning the deck into a more traditional Midrange controllish build, a la old school Midrange Paladin. For now, it is hard to choose what to target - should we cut down on the efficient answers, making the deck vulnerable to Aggro, but possibly hurting the class in the long term (since those are all cards that will remain post rotation)? Should we destroy the late game plan, forcing the deck to play aggressively? Should we axe the early plays, possibly making the deck vulnerable to other tempo / midrange strategies? Choices, choices, choices...
5 midrange shaman deck in sequence, and is the absolutely same 30 cards, I can't take anymore, this month I don't reach rank 5, I reach 6 and that is it.

NERF THIS CURSED SHAMAN FOR GOD SAKE!!!
Switch to Shaman and try hard for rank 5, you get a golden epic card for your effort. As for nerfs, I can see hex costing 4 mana. The other OP cards will rotate out soon anyway.
Overload on Spirit Claws would buff it because of the synergy with Tunnel Trogg. I would make it either 2 mana or 1 mana 1/2 weapon. As it is it's a way better Light's Justice.

Waiting another six months for the core of the deck to rotate out is not really the answer.

People who refuses to play aggro out of principle are even worse than people who play exclusively aggro.
One should seek to become a complete player and play all archetypes, including ones that he despises for whatever irrational reasons.
come next rotation, many cards are going out of Standard.
Have patience, for few more seasons
Edit: I forgot to quote lol.
@Infirc
I dont know how do you expect to power down a deck by nerfing a card it doesnt even include but anyway. All you do with that is destroying the meme.
...There is just no way that happens...
(It happens)
Since this reduce mana cost shitty thingy is so awesome,,, (yet they nerfed Molten Giant?)
Wait til blizzard print "Arcane Giant From Below" then you all will witness 0 mana 8/8 with taunt...
