You must make a Loa or Spirit minion for Rastakhan's Rumble. It's time to join the fray with your own team!
Loas are powerful class Legendary Beasts and major highlights of their deck archetype, whilst functioning as the team's mascot. Their names are structured as "(Name), the (Animal)".
Spirits are 0-Attack Rare minions with a new mechanic: they have "Stealth for 1 turn" and provide a passive aura effect that benefits you in some way. Their names are structured as "Spirit of the (Animal)".
You are completely free to create Loas or Spirits for classes that have already had theirs revealed.

Discussion Topic Rules
To make sure that everything runs smoothly, we need to reserve the Submission Topic for submissions only. Everything else goes here. What is everything else, you might ask?
Rules or Process. Do you have a question about the competition's process? Do you need clarification about one of the entry requirements? Are you not sure whether your entry adhered to the rules? Ask here!
Feedback or Ideas. Do you have some ideas you'd like to run by others before settling on one? Do you need help balancing or wording your entry? Do you need help finding art that will fit your card? Or do you just want feedback from the community on your entry? You're in the right place! Remember, although you are allowed to make minor tweaks to your entry after you've submitted it, you're only allowed one submission per week, so make sure that you've settled on your card for sure beforehand.
Discussion! Do you have thoughts on other people's entries? Are there directions you don't like that you're seeing too many people take? Or directions you'd like to see more people take? Would you like to help others and contribute to a greater community understanding of Hearthstone card design and balance? This is where you want to be!
All of that said, please refrain from the following:
Posting TONS of Ideas. Discussion topics become an absolute mess if everybody is posting a dozen different ideas. Please post not more than 3 distinct ideas at a time. Any more than that and we'll have to delete your post.
Advertising Your Entry. Please don't pop in here just to advertise your entry only to never be heard from again. This includes only asking short, generic, or insincere questions like "Thoughts?" or "Do you think this is interesting?". Yes, getting feedback on your entry is one of the purposes of this topic, but we're not just here for other people to help you. We're here for you all to help each other. 12 hours after this competition begins, there should be plenty of other posts here for you to give specific feedback or for you to comment on a trend. If you post your entry for feedback after this time and do not also offer some form of substantial commentary, critique, or praise of others' work, you may find your post deleted.
Plagiarism. Many people post their ideas here before finalizing them in the submission topic. Directly plagiarizing those ideas to post in the submission topic yourself is absolutely not acceptable.

I don't think Hir'eek, the Bat is that interesting, and i was dissapointed that his battlecry has nothing to do with the fact that he's a bat. Hraz'actl plays more on that theme of draining life from the enemy. Lifesteal is an overloocked mechanic in warlock with Drain Soul, Lesser Amethyst Spellstone, Deathweb Spider and all the neutral cards.
Much like last week I'm looking to combat Deathstalker Rexxar's rotation, believing the Hunter will need new tools to thrive as a match progresses into the late-game. My specific intention is to push an Even Hunter with Shadra, allowing the 1-mana Hero Power to transition from early pressure into board control.

As long as you're careful about some kind of infinite loop, I think this could be interesting. The concern I have is the potential for oppressive levels of control: it's Blackguard but to your enemy's face, allowing for major Health swings. This + the Spellstone is 21 total "damage": 7 to an enemy minion, 7 to their face, and +7 Health for you.
Bloodreaver Gul'dan's Hero Power widens the Health gap by 6 with each use, and Uther of the Ebon Blade's weapon swings by 10; people don't really complain about the latter, but they most definitely do about the former. Hraz'actl has the potential to eclipse DK Gul'dan in this regard, if a viable deck built around it comes to fruition. They could also be combined together, which is even more scary D:

This will be a strange contest! A mix of scary powerful beast legendaries competing alongside synergy totems... the cynic in me says that Beast Legendaries get more votes?
The totem thing is so tricky. These build-around spirits are a big unknown. Will they all see play? They don't seem like good arena cards, no one really wants to play a 0 attack minion in arena. I can see them working in agro, midrange and combo decks though. Probably not a thing for control decks.
Legendary Beasts is seems fun, going to do a few of those first, but I also want to try the spirit stuff.
Like the other Spirits, it's an aura, obviously. So, while it's alive, you have an extra mana crystal and when it dies, you lose the extra mana crystal. Simple. The crystal gained is a full crystal which would be usable immediately, so on Turn 1 you could play theoretically play a Spirit + Spirit + 1 drop and on Turn 2 have 4 mana crystals (Though that might not be a great idea unless you have some powerful card drawing tools at your disposal).
It's not real ramp though, just temporary ramp as the mana crystal gained isn't permanent. It's similar to Darnassus Aspirant except that the crystal is not empty and if you happen to summon it via a random effect, you'd gain the extra mana crystal immediately, unlike the Aspirant.
I was trying to think of some synergies with for the arguably terrible card Surrender to Madness. Since the mana crystal would be provided via aura, it couldn't be destroyed unless the minion itself dies or is silenced, giving the priest a bit of leeway to play such a card. However, the Spirit itself seems viable enough on it's own and if the priest can protect it, they can benefit from the temporary ramp in mana.
DINOSAURS! I'm really into the King Rezan with "Battlecry: Destroy your opponent's Hero Power". I'm tempted to give that one Rush as well. I want it as a counter for Genn and Baku. Your opponent gets 10 turns with the hero power upgrade, then you knock it out, permanently.'
I find this card rather underwhelming. Even after playing this card, you must still spend 2 mana to silence an enemy minion, with the downside of healing it (unless combo-ed with Auchenai Soulpriest).

This feels pretty well-balanced. I like it. My only comment is that I would change "gain" to "have", because it's an aura rather than a Battlecry ("gain" suggests a one-off event that doesn't get reversed when the minion dies).

My favourite of these is Trash Collector Jani, but I think it needs to cost much more for that powerful of an effect (this can easily "draw" you 4+ cards in a typical Discolock deck). Also note the rules regarding the naming of the loas! Lastly, you may want to reconsider using dinosaurs for non-Druid classes because raptors are already the Druid's loa.
This week's competition feels much easier for me, because I have a lot of Loa cards saved on my Imgur account back when I tried to make a troll-based expansion. I didn't finish it, but I have the right cards to share. Here are my 3 Loas for now.
I would presonally like to know which of these three is the most interesting one for you, guys. I would personally stick to Akali because of the effect, but you can give me some ideas for balancing. I will gladly appreciate any help.
I feel like Akali is much too powerful - the condition is too easy to trigger and free tempo without card disadvantage is very powerful (see pre-nerf Patches the Pirate). You could make it so that you need at least X or more damaged minions, and/or make it cost more so that if you draw it, it will just be an overcosted 3/4 minion.
Anyway , here are two ideas that I have currently - grateful for comments on balance as well as whether they are interesting enough to vote for!
I have nothing critical to say about this card: I think Spirit of the Crow is fairly well designed, has good art, its flavorful, and it promotes new gameplay choices. Nice job :)
Edit: Okay, it might be a bit underwhelming as Livesage noted above me. Maybe drop it to 1-mana? *shrugs*

I think your heart is in a good place in trying to reverse-engineer a card that makes Surrender to Madness more appealing. However, I would counter with the consideration that people have been fairly perturbed over fast ramping and mana-cheating for like a year and a half now, if-not longer. I'm inclined to agree with them.
Considering the class in question you could potentially ramp into faster Big Priest or revive gimmicks, which is something I heavily frown upon. Yeah the Spirits dilute the revive pool, but Eternal Servitude can readily dodge that problem.
It's a fine idea at its core, but I think it might be the wrong time to introduce such a card.

There's a particular subset of players who have been clamoring for anti-Hero Power tech, so I think the second version of King Rezan could appeal to that group. 10/12/12s have been hard sells for some time now, but it has a good combination of raw strength and a powerful Battlecry.
On the flip-side, there's another dedicated group of weirdos folks who still believe in Discardlock, and they would love Trash Collector Jani. Edit: It definitely needs to cost more, though, like Livesage said above me.

I agree in-that Akali interests me the most, in-part because it goes well with the self-damage Warriors utilizing Rotface and the like. It's fairly easy to pull him out via a Whirlwind or Blood Razor, but so wasn't Patches the Pirate :/ Akali is much slower, so it seems mostly fine to me.
Edit: I agree with Livesage in-that requiring a specific number of damaged minions/characters would help.
As for the other two, I just don't believe Hethiss is a plausible play, and Nalorakk's potential for a super face-attack is scary. Considering that the Druid is supposed to be the big-minion class, Nalorakk has "surprise OTK" written all over it.
Behold, foolish interlopers! I am commanding this mortal to spread the will of the Scourge throughout the interwebs, encouraging you to seek out me, Archlich Kel'Thuzad! Now coming to you as the tenth class of Hearthstone!

Is it possible to submit a Loa and a Spirit? To show the synergy planned between the two like Hir'eek, the Bat and Spirit of the Bat? Just want a clarification.
Anyway , here are two ideas that I have currently - grateful for comments on balance as well as whether they are interesting enough to vote for!
My thoughts: I really like the idea behind the Polar Bear; however, and I might be wrong, but it seems way too good. Ursomnus has the potential to be infinitely-respawning Taunt minion, with stats that are only a little under-par for the first summon. Yeah you constantly need access to 5 Armor - and lose said Armor each time - but that's not super difficult to achieve in an Odd Warrior with Tank Up!.
I've expanded on my ideas to include two more Loas, along with a nerf to Shadra. All three have alliteration names; that was not intentional lol
Shadra, the Spider is supposed to go in an Even Hunter, which would maximize the effect's potential. It allows the archetype to transition from early pressure into board control, with the Poisonous 1-mana Hero Powers. Trying to compensate for the rotation of Deathstalker Rexxar.
Karnak, the Kodo is an attempt to encourage use of cards like Claw and Bite, and/or push an Odd Druid to go with Gloom Stag. The effect would allow Dire Shapeshift or Claw to function as a Savage Roar, boosting your minions at the same time as your hero.
Titanus, the Turtle is another in my series of unrequited love letters to an archetype that was never meant to be. Titanus turns all of your Taunt minions into Voodoo Hexxers, only better because they can Freeze enemies who target them with damage effects, spells, or Powers.
Behold, foolish interlopers! I am commanding this mortal to spread the will of the Scourge throughout the interwebs, encouraging you to seek out me, Archlich Kel'Thuzad! Now coming to you as the tenth class of Hearthstone!
I am a finalist in this Class Creation Competition, so if you could give it a look I would be greatly appreciative <3
You'd need to reword Titanus, as it stands, if a Taunt minion went to the opponents face, the opponent wouldn't be frozen.
Titanus is currently: Freeze characters that damage your Taunt minions
Voodoo Hexxer is: Freeze characters this minion damages
Whoops. Good point.
As for your question above, I've been pondering the possibility that we should tell everyone to make a Loa and a Spirit. As you noted that would allow people to better demonstrate the intentions behind them, and how they interact together. Unfortunately I am currently the only mod online, and even then I should have gone to bed like three hours ago :/ With no one to bounce the idea off of, it'll have to wait until tomorrow.
Side note: in your signature, you need to put [ card=gold ] as the front piece, and the regular [ /card ] as the back piece, minus the spaces I put in there of course. For example, Chillmaw should look like this if done correctly: [card=gold*]Chillmaw[/card], without the *

I know, this may seem nitpicky, but I think it's important. Otherwise, this competition is just "Cool Legendary Beasts".
Along with @thepowrofcheese's Spirit of the Crow, this is my favourite card so far. I can easily picture a Spirit of the Spider that reduces the cost of your Hero Power along with this.
As I said above, this is my fav card along with @linkblade91's Shandra, the Spider. I do agree with other people that it's too expensive, 1 mana or even 0 would be more fitting, although it would enable very strong Inner Fire shenanigans.
Like the other Spirits, it's an aura, obviously. So, while it's alive, you have an extra mana crystal and when it dies, you lose the extra mana crystal. Simple. I know it's supposed to interact with Surrender to Madness, but ramping outside Druid feels weird.
First of all, Loa have a name convention. So, they should be called Jani, the Raptor and Rezan, the Tyranosaur or something like that.
Then, both King Rezan have the issue of being Loa while not being synergy consumers (see what I told @Noah_McGrath), although the effects are neat.
Out of both Jani, I prefer the Trash Collector version
This week's competition feels much easier for me, because I have a lot of Loa cards saved on my Imgur account back when I tried to make a troll-based expansion. I didn't finish it, but I have the right cards to share. Here are my 3 Loas for now.

I know this is probably because these cards were made before Rastakhan's Rumble was announced, but you should use naming conventions and the expansion watermark.
Out of your cards, my favourite is definitively Nalorakk. But if you want to go with Akali, you could change the effect to "If you have three or more damaged minions at the end of your turn, summon this from your deck", and maybe reduce the stats a bit.
I don't think Hir'eek, the Bat is that interesting, and i was dissapointed that his battlecry has nothing to do with the fact that he's a bat. Thanks :)
I left your remark to Noah in there because I agree with the thought-process, even though I had not even considered it lol. The Loa appear to be the end reward for one's strategy and deck-building, not the beginning. I think I'll have to rework my other two minions with this in mind.

Krag'wa, the Toad works with Totems because of the promotional trailer, but I've received feedback it's not exciting enough :(
As Heavy Metal! showed us, Armor is probably going to be Warrior's theme this expansion, hence I made Tortolla, the Tortoise. I am worried it's not very fitting for a Legendary minion, given Crypt Lord has a very similar effect and it's a Common :_D
Finally, there's Spirit of the Hawk, which I believe to be my best card. I think Rush is a great way to make Windfury relevant, as it allows them to use their ability immediately without enabling huge damage burst like Doomhammer used to do back in the Shamanstone decks. 1 mana might be a tad too cheap, but Windfury needs A LOT of support to work.

Do Loas need to be Beasts? What about Bwonsamdi?

Bwonsamdi, as far as I'm aware, is the exception to the rule. I might be mistaken, but beyond that one example the others will all be Beasts.
In terms of the competition, I think sticking to Beasts would better align with the spirit of what we're looking for.

On the flip-side, there's another dedicated group of
weirdosfolks who still believe in Discardlock, and they would love Trash Collector Jani. Edit: It definitely needs to cost more, though, like Livesage said above me.I agree in-that Akali interests me the most, in-part because it goes well with the self-damage Warriors utilizing Rotface and the like.

Is it possible to submit a Loa and a Spirit? To show the synergy planned between the two like Hir'eek, the Bat and Spirit of the Bat? Just want a clarification.

I have an issue with your card: Loa are supposed to be synergy consumers, while Spirits are synergy enablers. Your card is a Loa, but it's a synergy enabler.
I know, this may seem nitpicky, but I think it's important. Otherwise, this competition is just "Cool Legendary Beasts".
I know it's supposed to interact with Surrender to Madness, but ramping outside Druid feels weird.
I know this is probably because these cards were made before Rastakhan's Rumble was announced, but you should use naming conventions and the expansion watermark.
Out of your cards, my favourite is definitively Nalorakk. But if you want to go with Akali, you could change the effect to "If you have three or more damaged minions at the end of your turn, summon this from your deck", and maybe reduce the stats a bit.
Spirit of the Phoenix all the way!. The other one is too complex, IMO.
Thanks :)
I left your remark to Noah in there because I agree with the thought-process, even though I had not even considered it lol. The Loa appear to be the end reward for one's strategy and deck-building, not the beginning. I think I'll have to rework my other two minions with this in mind.

Okay, here are my cards.
