Well, this Season was certainly full of excitement! We've managed to roll through 20 full weekly competitions, ran our first Expansion Design Competition and introduced a whole slew of new mods to the team towards the end. Now its time to decide on a final, overall winner.
This Finale Poll is set to end in two weeks, on the 22nd of November, and until then we have the return of the Mini-Competitions! This time, the themes will be chosen by us mods - there's 7 of us now, so that works out perfectly with each competition running for two days total - 24 hours for Submissions, an hour for upvoting and then 23 hours for a final poll. These themes will be a bit outside the ordinary, themes that perhaps wouldn't work as well for full competitions or might just be a bit of fun. You can find a list of the competitions below, along with links to the Submission, Discussion, Final Poll and the name of the mod who came up with it. Each of the mini-competitions will offer you the opportunity to earn the Avatar border, so make sure to check them out!
So, what's the plan for Season 7? Well, since it'll be very close to the holiday season by the time this poll ends, and we planned to take at least a short break afterwards, Season 7 is planned to start sometime early next year. Don't worry though! We've got some special, one-off stuff planned for December to help tide us over. The next Big Competition will also start at the same time as Season 7, so be prepared for that!
Click on each Winner to see the Final Poll for the competition it won.
Take note that some of the finalists will have extra cards as part of their submission, whether because the competition required more than one card to enter, or because they had tokens as part of their card. All extra cards can be viewed in a spoiler below.
The grammar on most of these cards are quite nice. I could only find 3 that didn't follow the prompt, but I had to go Grammar-Nazi mode to do so. Well done.
The grammar mistakes are on Ozymandias's Chilled Frog, Ironsight Rifle, and Diamondroot.
Favorite Card:Leech Archer by RazorOfArtoras
This is the perfect common out there. I mean it's so simple, yet can be used in complex strategies, and perfect in every aspect. Best card I've seen in a long long time.
Other Cards I've Voted For
Tourist Trap: I really like the flavor of this card. It's a trap, it discovers, it makes tourists rethink their existence. What more can I ask for?
Archangel of Tithes:Cogito, you know why. Archangel of Tithes is the BEST way to screw over someone with Mana Screw.
Black Cat: As a MtG player who owns dozens of copies of this card, I love how Nurgling13 twisted the discard on the original Black Cat into a Corruption effect.
Anyway, GL to everyone. I hope to see y'all next season (Which starts next month) and in the next few miniWCDC Competitions!
Mind Flay is amazing imo! Also gonna vote for Treason, Then, loved that one too...I like the artwork on Nature Anomaly but I'm not sure about the card, something seems off to me (name, wording, idk :S), might give that a vote too to keep the rule of 3! GLHF everyone!

Thank you, glad to see you like it!
That card gave me my first WCDC win and was pretty unexpected because noone was talking about Leech Archer at the coments and the forum xD

Behold, foolish interlopers! I am commanding this mortal to spread the will of the Scourge throughout the interwebs, encouraging you to seek out me, Archlich Kel'Thuzad! Now coming to you as the tenth class of Hearthstone!
I am a finalist in this Class Creation Competition, so if you could give it a look I would be greatly appreciative <3
Those final polls are cool but also less pertinent individual polls. Each card won a different theme which means that we're evaluating the card as much as the theme it won. Cards that won broader and more universal themes (e.g. 7+ common minions) will fare better than cards with more restricted themes (e.g. my C'Thun theme or the last one with Hero Powers). Also some cards that looked cool and balanced at the time could now feel unoriginal or overpowered (e.g. the Leeching Poison rektage LUL).
Anyway, true connoiseurs know that sharks make the best pets, so I voted for all cards with a Shark on them.

In all fairness, Leeching Poison is a pretty bad card and I think most people would be able to figure out that I made my Leeching Poison before Team 5 revealed their's.
The final poll problem you brought up is also of course an inherent flaw with the final poll. All the cards here (minus the 6.05 tie and the Frog cycle) were all part of different themes with different restrictions so trying to compare them up and judge them is awkward.

I know, but still ... its kinda insulting to introduce a card that is supposed to do something, but its so bad it doesnt even matter it exists. So dont friggin make it in a first place, raawr :P
The problem with mutanus is that it can be used by a non warlock card.
For example by a priest stealing cards, or rogues. Mages with the kabal courier. Or any class with for example mind control tech and then bounce.
If this card existed, it couldnt work like that, because you would need an icon and a name for every single combination (I believe there are 81 combinations total). I believe the card could be better designed...
Anyway, it is a cool card nonetheless, and congratulate everyone for winning in this year, and my comment is in no way intended to offend, only to give a little useless opinion.
I may or may not have voted every card because I was that indecisive.
IMO you should win cuz you are the only one with 3 winning entries. If that does not show creativity I do not know what does. I voted for all of them!!

Yeah, whoever told her to word Archangel of Tithes like that is a genius!
Happy Season 6 Finale!
