This is my submission. It is inspired by the Shield of Vengeance spell from the Paladin class in World of Warcraft ! The idea is to trade with minions with low stats in order to be able to clear the more heavy enemy's minions ; you trade, your minions deal their damages as usual but don't die, and then the damages that should be delt to your minions are split between the enemy's one !
If text seems complicated simply:it is 4 mana 2/2 drop and you can't silence it untill opponent casts a spell this minion get silenced into 4 mana 7/7 drop.
Basicly either your opponent okay with permanent 2/2 minion board or 7/7 vulnerable one.
I thought this could be interesting. It has taunt when first played, but if it takes any non-lethal damage, it becomes immune but can then be bypassed (as the taunt no longer works). The priest could then trade favorably and heal it to remove the immunity and restore the taunt. Dealing 3+ damage will kill it outright.
I really like the idea of permanent board fixtures, like the imp portal. This is probably weak enough that it won't make a huge impact each turn but is an extra thing to help with mage tempo. Plus it's Yogg and Mana Wyrm points :)
A little clarification of the effect: It means that if one of your minions is attacked and survives, it can't be targeted or damaged anymore this turn. So let's say you have a Tirion Fordring and your enemy attacks it, it becomes Immune until the end of the turn. Even though it loses Taunt, it will stay alive and regain taunt on the next turn.

A more strategic approach to the discard mechanic.
Design Decisions:
Going undefeated is easy - all you have to do is never interact with anyone.

NOTE: This is a 100% legit item from WoW:

Nothing beets it.
Trades tempo for on-demand value when you need it. Synergy with Sanguine Reveler, Ravenous Pterrordax, Unwilling Sacrifice, and more.

Flavour Text: Yarr! Reinforcements be 'ere!...for a price...
*Note: Would only discard one coin per turn. Cards like Counterfeit Coin and Gallywix's Coin count as coins.*
**Edit: Fixed typo.**
When I saw the Gadgatzen cinematic trailer I got hyped for Kazakus's dragon form, was dissapointed, so there ya go!
