I really think this is a good card in a minion based deck. For 5 mana you get 3 bodies, 2 of which immediately impact the board. Maybe a bit slow, but I definitely see this in some zoo decks.
Like. Always liked annoy-o-tron. They were always good back in the day when I'd try to play different forms of Burst Priest. Probably will try running this without any other mechs in some sort of combo priest. Not bad as a stall before throwing/trying to find Psychic Scream.
Looks like Sludge Belcher has returned to Standart. On his journey he morphed into a gnomish inventor buy you can't blame him. It was a Wild journey :P
I think this card is so flexible, that it will be run in both Midrange (Fungalmancer says hello) and COntrol as a solid wall that eats up to 4 attack triggers at best.
Pretty good evolve target too. Not as good as dopplegangster was on the same turn, but stickier if you need to evolve the following turn, or as a better alternative as a top deck with no evolve in hand.

This card would have been so good in pirate warrior meta. Right now would be a nice tech card at best. I don't see a reason to play this in a mech deck over wargear or zilliax.
It's stall card, a neutral one at that. Any class has a really solid stall card now against minion aggression and it's even pretty good against damage based removal.
Maly Druid for example can still just kill you with minion damage and does in situations where the needed combo pieces aren't coming together.
Though I think you are right. In this meta, Maly druid, despite having minions is looking for the OTK and Shudderwok doesn't care if it never attacks you with any of it's minions. Still there is odd rogue, token druid and even warlock that a card like this would be effective against. We'll have to see how the future meta pans out after the expansion though.

The value generated is decent on its own, but I would like to see if there are strong Mech synergies I can pull off with this card. If not, I still have Saronite Chain Gang for summoning multiple Taunt minions.

Sort of reminds me of Sludge Belcher and Spreading Plague. Not really strong taunts, but they buy you a ton of time, which can be crucial.
In EVERY deck until nerf (will cost 6 and will still see play).
Board refill on turn 7 with Murmuring Elemental perhaps.

You can play both and he is even a bit protected too. Not a terrible combo.
Murmuring Elemental + Giggling Inventor + Blood Knight = a 15/15 behind four taunts for 10-mana using three cards.
