What I would like to know is if the minions already on the board can still attack face when you play this. Seems like Rush only applies to cards you just played, so probably the cards already on board wouldn't be affected?
Might combo well with the number of "Deathrattle: Summon X" minions in hunter. Problem is the lack of immediate board impact. Stats are pretty good though, may be good enough to survive one turn and get use out of his ability. Doubt it will get too much use though. Control hunter would need some more tools and that's basically what this will have to work in.
Likely going to join Professor Putracide in the 'neat but not competitive' category.
Well, it's not bad, as some people overreact to it.
Like others mentioned - it has good stats, so it will most likely survive the turn this is played. If this happens, then the power of this card becomes a beauty - hunter never had good ways to clear minions, except using their own ones. This card helps them gain a lot of tempo against mid-range or maybe aggro decks, because hunters will use their resources from their hand to make favourable trades and to regain the control over the board.
Sadly, this looks good on paper. It doesn't help the fact, that it's a legendary (only one copy in your deck) and it has to be played first and to stay on the board, but it's still nice imho.
So one possible way to get value out of this might be with Cultmaster and small minions. You can trade them in and get card draw right away. I don't really see anything immediately powerful about this card, but I hope the new reveals will change that!!
Seems like it will be much more successful in arena then constructed. Of course we need to see the rest of the set to make the final judgement. But looking at how we are talking about Hunters, the cards will most likely be garbage and so we can assume this will be overall a bad legendary.
Meh Hunters. I don't understand why we even bother with them now, just let the class die in peace.
Rush is obviously worse than charge, but the major benefit this has over Tundra Rhino is that it can be played for a similar effect in a deck that wants to run Kathrena Winterwisp and big beasts.
Houndmaster Shaw might also be useful when paired with cards like Cave Hydra for some mid game board control.
This is crap Legendary I will likely get with my pity pick from Blizzard while opening the expansion bundle. Yes, it will be +400 dust towards some other card that is playable... but I won't want it.
Looks like absolute trash in my opinion. Especially when Tundra Rhino gives Charge and has Charge itself for a mere one mana more.
I shouldn't even be surprised by the community's inability to evaluate cards anymore. This is one of the most powerful cards in Hunter's entire arsenal and yet people are making and upvoting dust jokes. Congrats, you don't understand tempo.
Lul don't ever never let me down, HearthPwn community.
The first ones to shit on a card immediately, the first ones to netdeck the moment a creative use for it is discovered.
I thought this was a rare card lol than I saw it is legendary and got disappointed.
Yeah the card you play after this if it survives will help you to control board so what ?

Me no trade, me go face — oh, no… :(
Super good in Cube Control Hunter, since you realy can abuse that tempo there. Wouldnt wonder if we see a value hunter secret this time around.
Garbage hunter legendary?
Ah, how unpredictable!
If hunter shifts away from spell style these stats are what matters...the rush is just a cherry on top.
Occasionally gives helpful advice.
mix this with a cheap echo card, and some poison minions good board clear and board control

You can just play it as a 4 6 . Not bad at all !
It's better than Putracide in a Secret Hunter, which is funny.

Too bad Piranha Launcher is rotating out :P

This makes me wonder if Houndmaster Shaw's adventure mode has something to do with the Rush mechanic.

the one mana make big difference especially at early game
