Val'anyr waas the chance to resque control paladin and you just killed it. How can you print an originally healer weapon into a more midrange/aggro tool?
Why print 2 healing synergy cards and not give at least 1 legendary to synergise with them? And how can this compete with fucking priests.
Incredibly slow, incredible value. Probably not quite playable though
But is it really that slow? I mean, you still deal 4 damage when you play this, it's only 2 mana more than a truesilver, but next turn you deal 4 more and you can play the minion that got the +4+2 for 0 mana... Yes sure it's a bit slow, but not slow as it seems.
It's pretty much everything I want in my handbuff deck. It's removal, it helps damage the face so healing effects get value, it's another handbuff, it's endless value/pressure, and it's mid-costed. I'm in love! <3

To me it looks more like midrange /Control (cause slow)

People seem to forget, that you can attack the same turn when u "sacrifice" your buffed minion and gain back some tempo, similar to trading tirion + attacking with ashebringer which never felt slow

People talking about this being weak to silence need to reevaluate their ability to read.
You can't, I repeat, you can't silence a fucking weapon. It doesn't transfer the deathrattle to a minion, the weapon itself has deathrattle, just like Blood Razor.
Yes you can destroy it with oozes or Harrison, but it will just keep coming back. So most likely, no other weapon can replace it after you play it.
The irony here is incredible.
You silence the minion that gets hit by the +4/+2, that stops the weapon coming back to your hand. Not saying silence is a great counter (because Paladin has so many things to silence) but yes silence would work against a weapon.

Btw. no Control deck can compete with Priest.
Only if their draw sucks, yeh. But compare the control cards given to paladin and the priest ones.
And I am not sure how this fits in a control paladin deck with Wild Pyromancers and Doomsayers. It fits a hybrid control midrange deck just like the one kibler played to legend. Or even better a Corpsetaker deck or just handbuff. But guess which beloved card counters handbuff?

Changed my vote to playable. Great deathrattle, but you'd have to wait for two turns before realizing its deathrattle effect, maybe 3 or 4 turns before getting the card back. With the 6-mana cost, you'd probably only get one loop. Great value if the meta slows down and control becomes a thing with a lot of discover minions.

It's certainly helpful that you don't have to equip it manually every time, but it's a big investment for an effect that's just going to get polymorph'd away

I'll take this over shaman weapon...
Seems very very dangerous
If you can cheat it out, it is broken.
it doesn't go back into your hand it says reequip it
And we're back with another tick on the Blizz list.
Cheap board clear for Priest - check
Meme legendary for Shaman- check
Extremely situational control tool for Hunter - check
Random spell generation for Mage - check
Meme late game Legendary - check
More Ramp for Druid - check
Support for discard Warlock - check
The godtier Paladin legendary - check
Now we're just missing the OP arena common and the Meme weapon synergy for Rogue until we get the bingo
this weapon is similar to a tirion

Not bad

How many silences can you play?

Still, a 5/3 Righteous Protector, a 5/3 Stonetusk Boar, 7/3 Wolfrider, or 7/4 Chillblade Champion are pretty good. Heck, even on a Target Dummy -> 0 mana 4/4 taunt, or 4/6 Shieldbearer.
