Well this looks terrible, but on the other hand i really hope they dont push a bunch of divine shield minions because that sounds awful to play against
When I first saw this I wasn't paying much attention and only noticed a pally legendary named bolvar with the same mana cost, same terrible stat line, and the gain attack when X happens text... almost reported for thread necro before I realized this wasn't THAT bolvar, and they've made the same terrible card twice. Thanks blizz.

Em is it similar to how warlock legendary works, I mean will you gain attack while its in ur hand and deck, or only while it is in play? if its only in play seems quite a bad card, which is good, enough of good legendaries for pala.
At worst it's a 5 mana 3/7 with divine shield. It has divine shield of it's own, shield gets popped and 1/7 becomes 3/7. Not terrible, maybe not impactful enough though. Who knows... Everyone thought Sunkeeper Tarim was garbage tier as well, so time will tell.
I thought they said they weren't reprinting any new versions of old characters? If this is the case, I'm looking forward to seeing what they do with Sylvanas!
Not unplayable but divine shield Paladin decks have existed before and been utterly mediocre. Still, with Lightfused Stegadon and Gentle Megasaur it might make a decent addition to midrange decks, not that they really need it.
Does the effect only count if it's in your hand? Or just whole game even when you haven't drawn it? Does it keep increasing attack once in play?
EDIT: I also have that query for the Paladin weapon and the Warlock legendary. The way they're phrased makes it sounds like the attack bonus is triggered whether they're in your deck, hand or in play but I don't know.
Because the Paladin weapon and Legendary says "after a friendly minion loses Divine Shield Gain +X" that means it will only be while they are on the battlefield. The only redeemable quality for Bolvar is that he has Divine Shield so he will be a 1/7 for the first hit and 3/7 for the second hit....still terrible though.
As for the Warlock Legendary it's stated "has +1 attack for every card discarded this game" meaning it doesnt matter where she is (even if you manage to resummon her from dying) she will have the attack buff from your discarded cards.
Discuss!
PS: The attack buffs only happen when the card is on the board.

THAT ART! Might find a way into divine shield spammy decks as a super-snowball threat, but it doesn't seem too fantastic.
I was just thinking how Paladin didn't get a bad legendary since TGT. Then this happened....
Oh look another terrible Bolvar card LOL
"Waaah, I'm on fire!"
Blood Knight combo?
Well, it can snowball pretty hard, and the art is insane!
Not a great card, but man, does that art ever look deadly. If I get it (especially if I get it gold) I might have to find a way to make him work haha.

Why the fuck did they just reprint the most fucking useless paladin legenary?!
Then again it's a 5 mana 3/7 once it loses it's own shield...not game losing if you get it from an RNG effect.
The 1st step towards a better game is firing Mike Donais! We had enough of his "skillful" balances!

You guys do realize they will add more divine shield minions, right?

If it is like a C`thun like buff then it doesn`t suck as much but still not good.
The artwork's magnificient at least.
But yeah, for this card we have to see what we get in Divine Shield, but there's potential if we get enough solid Divine Shield minions.
Can't wait for that Back to Your Homes Bolvar Deck. ;)
