Possibly my favorite entry fanfare of any legendary. Shame it had to go with such a mediocre card.

Opened a golden one of these just now. Kinda wanna disenchant for mal'ganis to finish up my crafts for demonlock in wild, but the golden animation on this one is absolutely incredible and it's also great in some kinda divine shield midrangeadin. Any advice?

Yeah. I actually have a midrange deck that got me to rank 15 (not sure if that helps you) that uses cards like Tirion, Righteous Protector, Wickerflame, Chillblade Champion, and Corpsetaker, as well as Bolvar. If it's too expensive, use some Saronite Chain Gangs and Stonehill defenders. 

I use him in a lot of my paladin decks alongside Righteous Protector Shielded Minibot Wickerflame Burnbristle and Tirion Fordring.

Usually he'll get 1 or 2 procs, but even if he only gets buffed by himself he's a fantastic target for curving into Spikeridged Steed.

It's also hilarious when you can play him with a board full of Recruits buffed by Steward of Darkshire.

Yeah Paladin really lacks good 5 mana drops

Sacrifice?? Isn't it service?!? AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHH! I can't play and use this card til they fix this...

When I played wow I always thought it was sacfrice, I guess I misheard it.

If other bolvar had elusive, that would have been cool

for music entrance:

new bolvar > tarim > old bolvar > tirion/eadric > happy rag > burnbristle > galvadon

In terms of badassness you're probably correct but I just love Wickerflame Burnbristle's entry.

So if my opponent doesnt have an answer to this, i's game over. Either if I hide him behind small DS minions or buff him with Steed next turn and then with Bonemare. Lots of opponents did such insufficient trades or wasted Equality etc just to remove him. I think he is Sunkeeper Tarim of this set (ok he is not that powerful but you get my point)

This card is amazing from my experience. It is so sticky it stayed at least 3 turns every game I played it .It grows so fast in divine shield paladin  7 attack or more is not rare. Really good card.

It makes your deck much better, but you can live without it.
