The shaman cards don't seem too good, but control shaman has been making waves recently and C'Thun is the late game finisher that deck has been looking for. I think that card alone will make a huge impact.
Just not very many good spell damage minions. Theres Vashj and Squallhunter in Shaman, Azure Explorer (best one probably), Kirin Tor 3 spell damage one and the new 1/3 in mage. The only decent neutral spell damage is Thalnos unless it is a maly deck. I assume the Mage legendary wont appear.
That being said, in a spell damage deck any spell damage is at least acceptable. Also it seems the effect will last between turns, so it can be used to set up future turns. You can get a 2 mana discount on Maly with 2 of these.
Yeah id much prefer Rastakhan where 90% of the cards were useless. If the cards arent more powerful than what exists then nothing will change. I havent seen any card that looks game breaking.
There really arent that many great Deathrattles in standard, anyone who has tried to build around Shadowy Figure or Anka knows that. Waxadred looks great with this card, but we need more. At least this curves off of Necrium blade if you have some card to combo.
It will only be viable if they included a reborn dragon or 2.
This effect does not work with reborn. The copy summoned does not keep buffs.
The interaction with Bronze Herald is worth talking about. If the buff goes on herald with no other dragons in hand, will it buff one of the 4/4s when it dies or just fizzle?
I imagine the herald deathrattle should go off first cause it was there first, I dont have an example to back that up though
The issue with Lazul and now this card is they mess up the res pool. All these cool priest effects are worthless until Priest has a viable control deck outside resurrection. That being said I think this card is very good similar to Lazul and would be included in control warriors or shamans.
Im interested to see Shaman's Galakrond, this could be doubled in a quest Galakrond shaman. Its maybe ok in Warlock, 2/2 rush with two 1/1s isnt bad for the type of deck that is.
IMO the player going second in arena needs a bigger compensation than in constructed. The coin and an extra card is fine for prebuilt decks, but in arena going first is still too much of an advantage
1/5 chance to get the rush buff and make your Immortal Prelate completely broken with the new lifesteal card. Obviously thats not good enough, but it is interesting

If this had rush or taunt this would be one of the most broken cards in hearthstone history

Seems OK in Odd Rogue, significantly better than Marsh Drake. Thank god we dont have to worry about that in Standard
