I'm particularly glad Emperor Thaurissan, Reno Jackson, and Brann Bronzebeard are rotating, since I think they're all cards that fundamentally break the way Hearthstone is played and warp not just the meta but the entire game around themselves. Furthermore, Reno existing has been an excuse for Blizzard to print very little playable Neutral healing cards, which has hurt some classes like Rogue in particular. Most of the absolutely degenerate combos in the game involve one or more of these cards. Good riddance.
On a side note I am actually SAD to see Entomb go, because I think Deathrattle cards should have more in-game counters and counterplay than they do. Deathrattle is and has always been essentially overpowered when compared to non-Deathrattle creatures, yet there are very few cards that allow you to play around them. I should be able to punish a high-Deathrattle meta the same way I can punish a high-Weapon meta or high-Secret meta.
For new player like you, yeah stick to Standard, but when WOG and MSG rotate next year, I hope you join us in Wild, or atleast the rotation after that. Good luck, shame many new players quit because they cant catch up.
I am a Wild Player, but I am glad Reno is rotating out. Rotations make decks obscure. Mech Mage is thankfully a rare sight these days, hopefully highlander decks and jades (in a year) will share the same fate. Its not because I like smashing face, but Kazakus just outright beats control in the value game, and I miss old control games that Blizzard so rarely endorses.

Start of Year: Provoke the failure of 3 expansions, force nerfs on otherwise balanced cards, bring deckbuilding to an all-time low and get rotated one year earlier for being such a threat to the game's health. - Genn and Baku's historical entry on the White Book of Shit Design, shortly before retiring unpunished
I'll probably be happiest to see sir finley rotate out. It was an interesting effect to have in the game for a while, but I'm ready to be done with every aggro deck having a chance at life tap/steady shot. I will also be happy to see thaurrisan, imp gang boss, and totem golem rotate out.
Reno's departure will mean the return of the now irrelevant midrange archetype and the demise of both hyper-aggro and jade stall. We can all learn a valuable lesson - be careful what you wish for because you just might get it.

Free to try and find a game, dealing cards for sorrow, cards for pain.
The good and fun ones. The more people give up on the Standard rollercoaster and start playing Wild, the more likely Blizzard will realize people don't want to lose 75% of their collection's value every 2 years.
But like, that allows newer players to enter the game, because they can keep up with newer expansions without having to craft/buy old cards that never left the meta because they ere way too overpowered (I see you Piloted Shredder).
RENO JACKSON. This is the most stupidly designed card in the game. It was fun for a while but then they forced this archetype with kazakus and its completely stupid and broken. Not to mention a mage sitting behind an iceblock with a reno and a brann kazakus combo. How is that skill?
How is that broken? Reno is 1 card out of 30 and doesn't guarantee victory especially vs other control decks.
As the card that has really saved alot of the contro decks I have to disagree, and you suggest it isn't skill, well I've played aggro and control decks and honestly it takes more skill to survive most of the aggro decks than it does to play them, reno included.
Gotta say I always feel vindicated surviving 10 turns and dropping reno against someone who net decks a top tier aggro deck, that just curves out with enough burn to kill you 2/3 times over.
I ask you where the skill is?
I mean but like, Reno turns the game into "Did I draw this one card?" If so, win instantly. If not, lose instantly. Not that Aggro is any better...
Challenger isnt really played in standard anyways. Secret paladin lost pretty much all its early game so at least thats gone. I won't miss seeing trogg and totem golem rotate knowing that shaman always has that in opening. Flamewaker is dead atm, but I'll be glad to see that RNG piece of crap rotate
Why would that kill hyper Aggro or Jade stall? Aggro has existed since the start of the game, and Jades are about as powerful of a mechanic as anything.
Flamewaker, Reno Jackson,Entomb. I run them all in my decks but they are all badly broken. I won't miss Sylvanas [/card]or [card]Ragnaros either. Totem Golem, too. I love shammy but a 2-mana 3/4 when you've got almost no 4-health removal at that mana? Problem.

Check out my OTK chargfury shaman deck.

Argent Horserider
[card]Tunnel Trogg [/card]
Flamewaker
Tomb Pillager
Anyfin Can Happen
Ice Lance
Imp Gang Boss
Emperor Thaurissan. Conceal. Ice Lance. Anyfin Can Happen. Gang Up.
I detest play archetypes that prevent your opponent from playing. This includes all OTK decks, but especially mill and freeze.
Forgive me, friend. I have failed.
I left out Justicar Trueheart. The old Fatigue Warrior was pretty miserable to play against.
Forgive me, friend. I have failed.
Reno is not a problem itself, the drawback is big for full heal, but with Kazakus + Brann combo the advantages trumps the downsides.
If HS live long enough, don't will be any downside at all and I think Reno decks will be Tier 1 forever in Wild.
Reno was never a problem - it's Skillzakus that is. Anyway, I'm glad to see Tunnel Trogg and Conceal go.

reno, because now more people will play wild :)
Vvreeeew.
Ice Lance
Rot in hell, freeze mage.
Custom cards :
CLASSES : Alchemist (CCC#5 | Phase V) | Chef (CCC#4)
EXPANSIONS : Year of the Scorpion (Year Comp)
Emperor Thaurissan!
The real reason Patron Warrior got nerfed and why designers can't let combos be viable.
Entomb, Reno Jackson, Flamewaker, Imp Gang Boss, Mysterious Challenger and any shaman's card.
One day this game will stop existing. I can't wait.

Brann Bronzebeard. Good riddance. Emperor Thaurissan. Adios.
And whatever Druid card makes the OTK C'thun deck work. Aviana. Sooooo stupid.

Other cards I hate - just because they're annoying, not necessarily OP or anything:
Gang Up, Argent Horserider, Refreshment Vendor, Justicar Trueheart, Living Roots.
