Hey everyone. This new rotation will be insane. All the cards rotating out and the hall of fame cards...wow. Basically, these are my two questions:
1. What will Mage be like after rotation? Secret Mage could possible move to wild. Ice Block moving out means probably no more Exodia or Quest Mage. The only one I see in standard now is possibly Elemental Mage. Now, obviously, we will have new cards that will change the meta and could help Mage, but what's your take on the situation now and what are your predictions?
2. Can Spiteful Summoner Priest survive in standard? Now this is one of my favorite standard decks I've played. I got to rank 2 this season with this deck and I just love it. After the rotation, however, many of the cards in this deck are leaving. The core cards are still here, Spiteful Summoner, Free From Amber, Shadowreaper Anduin, and Mind Control. Also, I use the dragon version so we still have Duskbreaker, Twilight Drake, and Twilight Acolyte. But many cards are out like Kabal Talonpriest and Drakonoid Operative (cries). What will this new deck look like?
Hey everyone. This new rotation will be insane. All the cards rotating out and the hall of fame cards...wow. Basically, these are my two questions:
1. What will Mage be like after rotation? Secret Mage will totally die and move to Wild. Kabal Lackey, Primordial Glyph, Arcanologist, Kabal Crystal Runner ALL GONE! Tar Creeper and Free From Amber are bot from JtU so they won't be rotating out. Anyway it's impossible to make prediction because we don't know what the new expansion set will bring.

Cards from Un'Goro are staying in Standard. Glyph and Arcanologist aren't going anywhere yet.
Why do you think Glyph and Arcanologist rotates out? Well, they are not.
With that strong of a DK, control mage will be a thing, plus big spell mage doesn't lose much. It is a thing.
Tar Creeper and Free From Amber are not rotating out too. Where do you get your information? How hard it might be to check what are rotating out? Spiteful priest will be just fine, if there are so many control decks around, it will be there to punish them.
Haha I totally forgot those were Ungoro which is not going anywhere. I thought they were Gadgetzan for some reason! My bad
side note: FanOfValeera why are u so triggered my guy?? Haha I made a mistake it happens. Or maybe you don't make hearthstone mistakes since you're an MLG HS elitist
Spiteful summoner should survive rotation, and in fact could get buffed if new high cost spells are printed (hopefully for other classes), but of course, there could be stronger decks after the new expansion comes out, so we won't know anything
Big Spell Mage is going to stay largely in tact. As it's morphed into even more of control deck with some of the best variants dropping Medivh and Firelands Portal, the only significant loss look to be neutral cards like Dirty Rat and N'Zoth. Dirty Rat may not be that important unless more combo decks pop up, and you really only need N'Zoth to avoid being outvalued by other decks with N'Zoth.
1. Tempo mage will rotate out, plus Good fucking Riddance. There isnt a deck i hate more than Tempo mage considering how braindead of an aggro deck it is.
2. Priest had its time to shine and i dont think blizzard will give priest even more good cards.
3. We dont know what cards their gonna nerf once the new year comes along so its hard to know what the meta will be like.
i dont think spiteful priest will surive or be popular i mean its losses netherspite historian which is a freaking huge loss, the addional duskbreaker, save me so many times, but without it, i dont know if priest can handle the aggro.
Unless I am wrong, dragons have been added in most if not all of the expansions. Spiteful Priest will not be the same, but it has a good chance of getting something that will help it stick around. The new meta will also be drastically different. Lots and lots of cards will be rotating out, many of the decks we now see will no longer be viable. We will have to see what happens.
Mage will defiantly take a step down losing ice block. But again we will have to wait and see.
Im really looking forward to the rotation. I have been playing a little over a year and this will be the first time I wont have to worry about crafting cards from before I started to play standard.
I'm sure Burn Mage will still exist, but Spiteful Priest will at the very least need to lose its dragon theme if no decent dragons end up getting released in the new expansion(s).
Here's to hoping this shit get shown the door. Mage is a mess, and how many turns does priest get anyway? Someone on Team 5 has a big candle lit for Anduin.

The man, the myth, the Legend.
(wait, I've only gotten rank 2, not legend)
It's impossible to know until the expansion comes out.
For what profit is it to a man, if he gains the world and loses his own soul?
Arcanologist and Free from Amber WONT ROTATE OUT. They are from Ungoro expansion.

I tried having fun once. It was awful.
Hopefully no one plays Spiteful Priest after it loses it’s dragon-oriented early/mid game.

I for one welcome our new control Mage overlords.

Hearthstone is a game of "copy and pasting"

If you are in your first year of playing please read this post.
Dust does not burn a hole in the jar. Be careful what you craft, especially before and right after a rotation.
