The next expansion will be at the start of a new year in Hearthstone. Historically that happens in April. So we are about 2 months away from the next expansion, not a few weeks.
I see you aren't good at connecting the dots. Historically every 3rd expansion of the year used to drop in December and not in November like the last time.
It looks like you need a history lesson.
The League of Explorers was released in November 12th 2015. The Start of the new year with the release of "Whispers of the Old Gods" was on April 26, 2016.
Madness at the Darkmoon Faire was released on November 17th, 2020. The start of the new year with the release of "Forged in the Barrens" was on March 30th, 2021. While not in April, using it as an example still means about a month and three weeks.
So Historically we still have at least 7 weeks to go. Not the "in a few weeks" idiocy. You have a join date that suggests you should know what happened with the start of the new year in years past. Your posts are either willfully ignorant of the facts, or you just like posting nonsense.
Part of the facts is, as it was pointed out several times already, entirely ignored by you thus far, that the season pass for Showdown in the Badlands ends on 11 March, making it rather likely that the next expansion drops on 12 March (which happens to be a Tuesday).
At least from what I can remember, there has been no instance where the date of a season pass ending has not coincided with the arrival of a new expansion thus far.
Historical observations are rather meaningless in this, since Blizzard can choose launch dates as it sees fit (as your "history lesson" actually demonstrates). They are not obligated to wait till April, or otherwise particularly inclined to do so. Keeping with "tradition" is not the strongest of incentives, as they have demonstrated multiple times on various issues, far too many that i could even bother to list them.
Not exactly a position from which I would accuse others of ignoring facts and posting nonsense, but you do you. If you are so hell-bent on correcting others, maybe question whether 5 weeks can reasonably be called "a few" instead.
The season pass end date has not been officially announced. The availability of it being sold has been pointed out. But that usually happens a week or so before an expansion is released. That puts it at about 6 weeks. A month and a half is not a "few weeks".

Referencing older metas and mentioning how good you were in them doesnt matter a hill of beans. Hearthstone in all its modes changes over time and players must learn to adapt to keep winning. Its one of the good things about the game, it doesnt get stale. Complaining about the current meta is not productive. Learn to play and win in it or just stop playing. Complaining is a waste of time and effort. This thread by you is basically salt.
I can't even be bothered to go to the website, log in and pick a titan.
I guess this is the end of the line for me if I don't even care about free packs. I think i'm like lvl 87 on the tavern pass. Haven't played in weeks.
No hard feelings though, been playing for almost a decade, put insane amounts of money in it. It's been fun while it lasted.
I still have a nearly complete wild collection except all the truly useless pack fillers and power crept cards, I suppose I can come back whenever I want.
I know what you mean, went through something like that last year, didnt play much for a month. Though I havent been playing that long, only since Ungoro. I got off the buying packs train long ago. I pay for the rewards track and thats it since it started. Wont play standard again, wild is much more fun.
Im voting Eonar no matter what :) ... I dont like Sargeras and I prefer to keep the original spirit of voting instead of gaming the system.
I am not sure the opinion in a post from a player that has posted here 3 times in two years is important. The whole purpose of the event is to give out packs, nothing more. Nothing will change in respect to any cards of the expansion, or any other part of the expansion. The expansion is only two weeks away, changes to anything have likely been frozen internally by Blizzard for a couple of months. Feel free to vote for whoever you want. But if you vote for a less popular selection you will miss out on getting more packs for the upcoming expansion.
1. Avoid heroes that are tied to a minion type except Ysera. You may get very few of the minion type. Ysera is the exception as it gets a dragon every refresh. Sadly dragons are mid tier right now imho.
2. Economy can help you win games.
3. Its sometimes better to lose an early round when damage is low if you level early.
You get a pack for picking your titan, and a pack if the titan you choose makes it to the next round. I think it might be a good idea to group together and pick a titan we all vote for. This hopefully gets that titan to the next round and we all get an extra free pack(s). Vote here and we will pick a titan everyone will vote for.

There must be someone, but they take a chance of missing out on packs.
As a reminder you have to vote this week for the second round.

For some reason I cant edit my posts. The event page is now live!
Sargeras, the Destroyer—Warlock was the poll winner with 122 of 160 votes. So please select this titan.

Good, the whole point of this event is to get free packs! Its not going to change any of the cards, or stop anyone from getting one.

Its looking that way.

In two days the "Choose your titan" event starts. It will be a three rounds over three weeks. The page isnt up for voting yet, but here is a link listing all the titans and info about the event. I will ad a link to the voting page when it goes live.
