As a hunter, it seems that you might as well just resign vs a deck that uses Jade Gollums. I find that I can't force anything by going face since they have enough defence and later on in the game it's impossible since they spawn a whole board full of 7/7 gollums and I have nothing that can deal with that.
Shaman and Druid that uses these builds right now are extremely common and strong and it's pushing Hunter more and more out of the meta since Hunter can't really do ANYTHING vs it.
Do we just wait and pray for something in the next expansion or what? Is there something I can change in my deck that would make it possible to do something vs these decks?
Well if I play a control deck I just concede to save time for both of us. That's how well designed Jade Idol card is. Seriously I do not understand how devs do not see that card as an insane future problem. Everyone is just talking about frickin' patches and spirit claws but imo jade idol is waaay bigger problem that these cards.
Yeah... seriously. I was climbing so nicely last week but since these nerfs it's actually even harder for Hunter since now everyone is playing a Jade deck and we have no chance at all anymore.
All I see now from Shaman and Druid is Jade decks and it's super popular. I need to adjust my deck or just accept a loss and concede right away. :///
Also, to all the smart-asses saying jades are well designed because it loses to aggro, that's not how this game is supposed to work. That's what leads to a rock-paper-scissors meta.
Jades are a stupid mechanic that should've never left the ideas box. The minute it got announced, I knew I was going to hate it. It doesn't take skill to play, is unbeatable for control, and it isn't fun or interactive at all.
I don't even see how it loses vs aggro really... they can just include some taunts and other things, it seems I can never end the game fast enough before they are completely unstoppable.
If they draw poorly and you can stack a Cat Trick on top of a double Kill Command or something, you may be able to get them in the kill zone before they realize it, especially in casual or low ranks where people are more likely to screw around. Beyond that, you are in trouble.

The problem is more with Hunter right no in your especific case. Hunter has a really fast hero powerand was the classical aggro class, but the handbuff mechanic goes against the class identity (warrior managed to ignore this due to more classical weapons and two strong class-specific pirates which complement the "Pirate Package". The last good so-called "midrage" hunter usually closed the games at 8 or 9 with one or two Calls of The Skill.
If you try to go toe-on-toe in a midrange battle with a jade deck, hunters will probabilly loose. That is also true for an aggro battle against pirates, even after the nerfs. This means hunter is outclassed in both its gameplans. If you want to stick to hunter, I would suggest accelerating your deck towards a faster mid-range, in order to outaggro Jades and survive Pirates. That change would make it very hard for you to win against Control/Reno, but that is just the way the game plays (unless you are Shamman and have all the tools... ahahahaha).
I played some Reno-hunter on low ranks last season, had fun, but it was absolutelly not ladder-viable. Hunter is not a class I play that much, but I´d like for them to have at least one viable archetipe.
Those too seem solid, I migh try the Handbuff one, since I don´t have Finja and might not craft it before rotation. You should try them if you have the cards and see what happen.
Realizing how bad this game is balanced is quite a bummer, it's such a good game otherwise. It's like you either play what's meta or you're done, assuming you even have the cards available to you. I'd play this Jade Gollum stuff if I had Aya blackpaw etc but I don't.

I really want to mess around with Murloc decks, but I don't want to craft Finja...
Gollums can usually be tricked by playing a riddle game and cheating, or can be tied up using elven ropes that burn their skin. Aside from that, having them fall into Mount Doom will also get rid of them.

The problem with Gulliums design in heartstone is Aya. Having Gollums with deathrattle make it a pain in the ass to get rid of them, which just gets worst after the nerfs: deathrattle Gullums coming back thanks to the Dark Lord N'zoth.
Another problem is infinite Gollums. Some decks could fill the entire Mount Doom with Golluns and still have at least 3 of them shuffled on the deck to spare.
Its a race against the clock. Slow down their card draw if possible and play to win earlier than later. Don't allow a Brann Bronzebeard or Gadgetzan Auctioneer those are even worse than Fandral Staghelm because they speed up the Jade clock. Golem decks don't generally have a Reno but they have some really nice late game taunts I would so keep that in mind when building your deck. When Jade gets to the end of their deck they will have a steady stream of golems that grow larger and larger- in those grim situations Deathwing is nice as a last chance to win. (though I don't have it... so I play Jade Golem Druid)
In general the matchup against jade druid is a tempo matchup. You kill them before they get a critical mass of jade golems. If you play to greedily you will get run over late game. Druid is generally weak against wide boards with health > 2, handbuff pala is quite good against it for example.
Against Jade shamn you can win an attrition war. If you pressure in the right way.

Unfortunately for you, hunter is not in a very good spot right now where it can effectively counter the meta of hyper aggro or hyper control, whihc is the result of the creation and introduction of the Jade Mechanic.
I suggest playing a different class or even a different faction for now until the next standard cycle as the Goons' classes are entirely not suitable for their gameplay on the ladder, or maybe using an even more aggressive deck against Jade. Playing proactively as a control player against Jade can also net you a win if you carry a burst condition in your lineup as well, which can also be good against control decks too.

At this point, you hope they get bad draws cause there's not that much to counter them as Hunter. :/
Afeter my response, I decided to take a look at the most voted Hunter decks.
There is a variation of Finja-Hunter: http://www.hearthpwn.com/decks/741223-the-water-hunter-murloc-midrange-anti-jade-hunter
Handbuff mid-aggro: http://www.hearthpwn.com/decks/732668-screw-a-wall-build-a-kodo

I think Hunter is really weak right now, and if your only real problem is jade decks you're doing pretty well.
