No, regardless of anyone's opinion. P2W means that you need to pay to win, which you don't.
Also you don't even need that much time to make a single top tier deck, plenty of them are very cheap with like 1 Legendary card (Quest Rogue, Pirate Warrior, Mid Hunter doesn't even use legendaries) and they are Legend viable. So not even an argument like "you need eternity to make a good deck" is valid. Now you don't even need many/any adventure cards also so you can craft all you need for a top tier deck in relatively short time.
If the question was "Is it easy to have all cards for free?" or "Can I make top tier deck in 1st 2-3 weeks?" - No, not possible and it shouldn't ever be. But the game is not P2W at all, everything can be bought with in game gold.
Perhaps YOUR definition. But p2w to most people means that paying for things gives an advantage, which it does. I like the overall design of the game but it has taken tons of grinding to not be at a huge disadvantage.
"Pay to get an advantage is p2w". This definition makes almost every game p2w. Even chess you can hire a grand master to tutor you, and you will have a huge advantage over someone else just starting out - but I would not say that is p2w...
You will get a head start - but in the long run, the playing field is equal.
To be p2w is only really when you have an option to pay for something that gives you an otherwise unobtainable advantage. Like imagine there were good cards in HS that was only available through special packs that could not be bought with gold - suddenly game becomes p2w.
That comparison is unbelievably bad. Paying for tutoring pay to win? What?
All of my new friends wouldn't lose to me 90%+ of the time if they spent money on the game and had stronger cards.
You are basically saying that if all cards where legendary right now and hard to get the game still wouldn't be p2w because it would be possible to unlock them by playing... a fuckton.
Actually the comparison is spot on. You said paying for any advantage constitutes pay to win - physical advantage or otherwise. The rhetoric you proposed is where the issue is - which you point out yourself! Because we both seem to agree that hiring a tutor is not pay to win - but by your own definition of p2w - it would be. I was simply pointing out the absurdity of your definition, but I see you agree now.
I see you are still confused. Getting help outside of a game doesn't make the game p2w.

I would strongly advice against disenchanting golden cards, especially quests - they might become good someday. But if you're poor f2p and you don't need golden druid - do it.
Huh? Why? He gets the same dust back and the quest is extremely weak right now. At the very least he can get a legendary of his choosing.
I got a golden giants and DE it and got the taunt warrior and I am glad I did since I managed to reach rank 3 with it. Jungle giants will take a lot of time to become relevant. You will need to wait 4 months or w/e for the next expansion and hope it's good then.
I regard it as a p2w game sort of but it's no excuse either IMO. If someone is into the game they will have a decent collection and deck in a few months and can compete.

Of course it is. Some decks are much better than others. Also having all the tech options available make it so much easier. If someone has 5 decks that are top tier available to them they have a huge edge compared to someone that doesn't like playing Hunter and is f2p.
I think you need another Acolyte of Pain and need to remove the early charge minions and other random things. You also need sleep with the fishes and maybe a primordial drake.

I think the percentile is inaccurate. I reached rank 3 and it didn't feel THAT difficult that it would really be top 0.5%

I reached Rank 5 today with this deck:
