Hi Guys,
Just wanna discuss about the new mechanic "adapt" what do you think will be the most and less frequent adapt we will see in the game? you can choose 3 or more in each category.
My top 3 most frequent:
Massive - Taunt.
Liquid Membrane - Can't be targeted by spells or Hero Powers.
Crackling Shield - Divine Shield
My top 3 less frequent:
Flaming Claws - +3 Attack
Shrouding Mist - Stealth until your next Turn
Poison Spit - Poisonous
Some minions are able to adapt twice what you think are the best combination?
Mine will be:
Liquid Membrane - Can't be targeted by spells or Hero Powers.
Crackling Shield - Divine Shield
I dont even know why they put the poisonous shit, its not a good effect on a good body, the only time where this effect is useful is when it is on a shitty minion like pit snake. Oh and Taunt will be the most frequent for sure.
Definitely Taunt and +3 Health will be a great combo. So will Taunt and Divine Shield, Poisonous and Stealth, and possibly +3 Attack and Stealth. As for the most picked, either Taunt or +3 Health, and perhaps +1,+1.
Shanking ankles since 2015.
Divine Shield and the Deathrattle seem really solid in most cases, +3 Health too! Those three even make Verdant Longneck into a decent card! People are probably overrating Can't be targeted and Taunt, though they do have their uses (especially when combined with other effects).
Poisonous might be a good pick with cards such as Crackling Razormaw, Lightfused Stegodon and Gentle Megasaur. It's however a completely terrible pick when it comes to like... Volcanosaur or Galvadon.
It's situational but probably not the worst option in a lot of cases, though +3 Attack might just be better in most situations...
Windfury is pretty much the opposite - you don't want that on small minions, though it could be really good on bigger ones especially if you get Stealth or something.
I love that the options' power vary greatly depending on what kind of minion you're adapting! This mechanic just seems to become more lovely the more I think about it :)
I personally think that the +1/+1 will be by far the worst followed by windfury save for the double cards.
Best will be taunt followed by spell shield.
Always Hunters. Always Huffers.
Always Hunters. Always Huffers.
Beware the poisonous Ally cat!
Depends on which adapt card to be honest. Poison and deathrattle are exceptional on the hunter card. Gentle Megasaur wants windfury and attack. Galvadon wants stealth. The self adapt cards generally want deathrattle, health and divine shield. Cant be targeted and taunt are situational, but are game changing when you need them. Honestly, +1/+1, while never bad, may just end up being the least used for me personally because it is never the best option.
Always Hunters. Always Huffers.
Forgive me, friend. I have failed.
In most cases, Taunt is the real MVP. The rest is pretty situational, really.
"What have you got there,
PinocchioMalygos?"Seems ok.
It's all situational.. You'll see taunt quite a bit.. Stealth + windfury maybe for minions that adapt twice.. Then drop a buff on it following turns and go face
Seems ok.
I assume this has has already been answered but I haven't seen it, so if you use a multiple adapt card can it give you the same option (for the Paly quest, will it get five different adapts or could it theoretically get five of the same)? Same for if you brann an adapt battlecry or adapt a creature with multiple separate adapt effects, can you stack effects or is it limited to one?
to the OP, I think the "can't be targetted by hero power or spells" and "conceal" are swapped.
I think the extra protection for one turn is more valuable. Unless it is a giant taunt or something like that where you want the opponent to throw minions at it.
As someone who's kind of fucking sick of Kabal Talonpriest....I see the +3 health being very popular.
