I'm calling it, this card will be bad, or decent at best. I would give reasons why but many people have explained it already. Maybe in wild it will be good (not super OP as everyone thinks), but in Standard? Nope.
ShellshifterSpiritsinger Umbra
No? Just me?
Racist.
Spiritsinger Umbra (4) > Crystalline Oracle (1) > Mirage Caller (3) to copy an Oracle - 8 Total Mana and you would copy 4 total cards from your opponets deck if the Oracles didn't get silenced the following turn. This would also give you 7/9 in stats for 8 total mana. This seems like a slightly more expensive Brann Bronzebeard with +1 attack, but for deathrattle cards instead of cards with battlecry effects. Also, most likely the reason Sylvanas Windrunner was moved to Wild as playing Umbra with Sylvanas could/would most likely be incredibly over powered.
The combo you describe, will proc the Crystalline deathrattle twice then upon summoning?
8 mana combo, but two free cards followed by a 3rd thanks to deathrattle?
Correct Yukazo, the way I described you would get 4 cards instead of three by copying Spiritsinger Umbra with Mirage Caller. I was going to post that you could do it the way you mentioned, however, in every given circumstance it is always worse to copy Spiritsinger Umbra instead of the deathrattle card. :)
So you would play Spiritsinger Umbra then Crystalline Oracle. This procs the deathrattle and gives you a card from your opponets deck. The you copy the Oracle with Mirage Caller which summons another 1/1 Oracle and that procs as well from Umbra giving you an additional card. At this point you have Umbra, Caller, and two Oracle's on the board still with deathrattle and if they don't get silenced this will give you two additional cards from your opponets deck for a total of 4. :D
So theoretically you spend 2 more mana in comparison to playing two Thoughtsteals, however you get 4 bodies on board with a total of 7/9 in stats.
If i play skeleton knight with this will it put a copy of it in my hand or return it to my hand?
If you win the joust, it goes back to your hand, otherwise it stays on the field.
I predicted Dreadsteed will become broken, when Blizzard forgets the card exists. I even suspected Yellow-Brick Brawl might have been way to test ways to chase Wild players to standard once Dreadsteed rotates. I never suspected it would happen this soon, but it happened.
Meh I still don't think it's that good. Think about it, if you play any more dreadsteed synergy than this, you'll run out of board room. A late game warlock deck has better late game than 7 1/1s
Good memes though
Wow so OP a board of 1/1's! It wasn't op before with the other guy, won't be op either now. Will just be "ok"
I agree completely...
AS A JOKE!
But what if Sherazin instead of copying itself will just go dormant in-place?
No, no, no... Anub'arak 9 mana 4/4
If this card is out, and then I play Barnes, and he pulls a Deathrattle...would Umbra trigger?
yes
Card text reads "summon a minion", so yeah it would trigger.
Yes, because it says summon, meaning that if you create a minion and it's not through playing a card it'll still trigger.
