Not an awful card, the obvious strength here is that Priest can simply heal the damage back. The downside is that anything resembling aggro or zoo in Priest is unviable in pretty much every way possible, so this goes unused.
There's interesting synergy with the likes of Holy Champion and Lightwarden, as this minion already gives you a target for healing (your hero). Can help if your opponent just trades your minions efficiently, leaving none injured and your hero at full health.
The simplest (probably not best) example is t1 Shadowbomber, t2 Lightwarden, coin, lesser heal Anduin.
Just received two in one pack somehow and will be disenchanting both due to the fact this card is not worth more than 100 dust to me :)

how is this an aggro card?
It would be really fun if this card worked with Prophet Velen. Still probably more playable than it gets credit for.
I've been messing around with priest aggro/burn decks and this card is doing pretty well. Here's a screen shot of my final hand after playing Holy Nova and Smite to get this controller warrior down to 3 http://imgur.com/QiVcH8T
This card turn 1 with The Coin and then Power Word: Shield makes for a fun start.
Why couldn't this be a 2/2? When you compare it to Leper Gnome and take into consideration the fact that it's a class card and has a symmetrical effect it doesn't seem worthwhile. It just looks like another card meant for you to instantly disenchant, like Shadowform. :/
Shadowform is actually pretty decent imo...
It has it's moments, but overall Shadowform isn't too useful. Seems more useful than Shadowbomber though.

Turn 3:
Gain a 2/1 minion, deal 1 dmg to yourself and 3 dmg to your opponent with 1 card.
or
1 mana for 3 direct dmg late in the game as a finisher.
This card has two purposes:
1) turn one play
2) game finisher to squeak those last few damage points out, bypasses taunts (as long as you are ahead in health) for 1 mana. This is actually pretty good.
Seems a bit average, but at least it gives the priest something else to do on turn 2, rather than healing the opponents and saying 'The light shall burn you.' Can't you it fitting into any types of priest deck, maybe aggro priest will become a thing. Probably not though. Definitely won't be crafting it.
It's average, I suppose, if your deck lack a decent turn 2 action. It might be good.
I kinda like this card. On turn 1 it's 3 damage, going to 5 on turn two if the opponent does nothing. Or you can trade it of those small cheap minions in the early game.
Kinda resembles the Leper Gnome for being very small and aggressive.
I just don't get it why it's epic.
It's epic because they don't want to dilute Priest picks in Arena.
