Reward
Card Clarifications
- The effect happens to minions which are played and summoned. For example, Frogs and Sheep from Hex and Polymorph would become 4/4. (Source)
- Cards on the battlefield when Crystal Core is played will become a 4/4 regardless of active buffs on them. You can later on buff them with cards and they will retain those stats. (Source)
- Example: Edwin VanCleef's effect works as normal if he's in your hand after Crystal Core is played. It will just add the +2/+2 to the 4/4. (Source)
- The reward for this quest is Crystal Core.

Wisp+Wisp+Vanish xD
You guys are messed up. Let go of your old archetypes. So much of the Wah Wah! I can't play my miracle. wtf?
The quest itself is awesome but the reward doesn't fit Rogue in any way... I'd rather see something that's good for miracle Rogues.
Like, make the reward some kind of permanent, untargetable legendary minion (like the Warlock Portal) which summons a minion or gives you a coin whenever you play a spell. Like a permanent Gadgetzan Auctioneer with a comparable effect.
I wonder if the Chicken from Gnomish Experimenter and the Chicken from Gelbin Mekkatorque's Poultryizer counts the same (since they have the same name).
are you surprised now? :D
Alarm-o-Bot Rogue PogChamp
List of cards that can be used for this quest: Youthful Brewmaster, Ancient Brewmaster, Gadgetzan Ferryman, Kidnapper, Shadowstep, Bloodthistle Toxin, Dream, Vanish, Shadowcaster, Alarm-o-Bot, Mimic Pod, Thistle Tea.
Seeing this card-list got me daydreaming about its potential.
After only seeing overly-hyped or overly-dramatic comments, It's refreshing to see this type of input - thank you!
Garbage cards like: Angry Chicken, Stonetusk Boar, Young Dragonhawk, Argent Squire go well with this quest too
Very, very interesting card, and do far the most unique and interesting quest so far, but I have no idea wich deck would fit. Maybe this card willl create a new deck by itself.
Feels like a really weird card for Rogue...I mean, sure, there are benefits to having all your cheap minions turn into 5/5s, but it just doesn't seem very Rogue-like.
I mean, what kinda of deck would you even build around this sort of mechanic? Just running only minions with less than 5/5 stats..and also running the whole arsenal of bounce effects (Gadgetzan ferryman viable, topkek).
I mean, just compare this to ther other quests so far: Priest gets MegaReno, Shaman gets Murloczilla, Warlock gets infinite Imps and Paladin is about to get Al#Akir on steroids....and Rogue gets slightly bigger minions for the rest of the game by having to build the most awkward deck ever conceived.....if at least it was "summon" instead of play it could have synergy with Sherazin, Corpse Flower.
I get that Edwin is an insanely powerful legendary and they can't just give Rogue some value overload card, but can we just stop trying to force gimmicks that there is no real foundation for?
You build a token deck. All of your minions will become 5/5 not just the ones in your deck and hand. Violet Teacher and Defias Ringleader are good for it.
If only it said summon 4 minions with the same name... Gang Up on Patches the Pirate haha.
Actually I thought playing it on Mill Rouge, and complete quest once I play my fourth Coldlight Oracle. Then swarm the board with Violet Apprentice
This will suck if more synergistic cards aren't added.
Wont judge the card until it is, but I can't really see this being that good even if there are
is it good for you now?
