I've been working on a honing pretty strange heavy spell based Control Shaman deck and I've been having some pretty decent success with it (I've been the highest I've ever been on the ladder, currently Rank 3). Anyway, over the past 24 hours two games jumped out at me and I just had to share! Don't want to make too long of a post so I'll stick to highlights.
Game 1: Pirate Warrior (Them) vs Shaman (Me)
-Turn 3 I coin out Barnes and it pulls a Hallazeal the Ascended, wasn't exactly what I was hoping for in this case but it turns out it was exactly what I needed. I expected the Pirate Warrior to use 1 out of their 4 minions OR their weapon to kill the 1/1 Hallazeal but they decided pushing me down to 9 health was worth more. Complete and utter shock at what just happened, I drop an Elemental Destruction and heal all the way back to full health. The Pirate Warrior conceded and sent me a friend request, which I still haven't accepted.
Game 2: Reno Lock (Them) vs Shaman (Me)
-I played the game pretty slow to ensure the Warlock wouldn't get much value out of his minions. Twilight Drake (Hexed) - MCT (No steal) - Second Rate Bruiser (No mana discount) - Brann (NO Battlecry value).
-I removed combo from the table when they used Faceless on my Emperor Thaurissan.
-Warlock threw down Doomsayer on an empty board and I took a chance on a Ragnaros shot which whiffed and went face, Warlock began emoting spamming after that. In my eyes I figured it was worth the shot and my deck wouldn't be hurting too much without Rag if the shot didn't go according to plan (which it didn't).
-I removed Leeroy from the table due to a Storm Guardian. They had to Leeroy + PO just to clear it and they dropped a Faceless Shambler for a 10/6 taunt before losing their Leeroy and the Faceless Shambler received my second Hex.
-Huge Misplay from Warlock gave me an Abyssal Enforcer as they attempted to clear my board that included Sylvanas.
-Minimal value Twisting Nether as they only got my Ysera and a healing totem.
-Warlock played Reno while at 3 health for the full heal in which I responded with N'Zoth (Sylvanas, Aya Blackpaw and a pair of White Eyes due to some Barnes shenanigans).
-The Reno Warlock ropes me to the very last second before conceding.

You can eke out a surprising number of wins in Casual (or low ranks) just by being different. A lot of people are completely incapable of dealing with decks they haven't seen a million times before.

Finally got around to playing shaman again this expansion. I had already reached the 500 wins so i was enjoying playing other classes first and get them closer to gold. Didn't even make a deck after opening White Eyes, until now. I must say that jade shaman is quite fantastic and i enjoy winning with it almost as much as i hate losing to it =P Getting myself two The Storm Guardian is very enjoyable.
just wanna say i had a good arena match that ended in a draw. to my opponent, DeathKnight, it was a close and good game. hope you have a good arena run.
BM'd my way through a face warrior matchup as Handlock while I watched him make all of the worst moves. So satisfying to crush their spirit as they attempt to use the most braindead deck in the game to get rank 5.
i got mad good vibes on the last tavern brawl, i apreciate when its possible to grind gold there fast for arena with the right recipe, this time however, it was blown out of proportions, just pick garrosh and autowin.
Since Standard was being kinda boring for me and I had Warlock cards quest, I decided to switch to Wild and try the only aggressive deck I really enjoy playing in Demon Zoolock (the one with Mal'Ganis). And I have to say, this was the funniest way ever to stop my winstreak:
Tried adding my opponent to thank him for making me literally laugh like a maniac for like a minute, but he didn't accept though :(
The last game I played was with the Jade Rogue deck and I'm very sorry I couldn't have recorded it somehow. The thing is, I had my own Aya, then I got one from Journey Below, then another from Undercity Huckster. When I played another Journey Below and I had her offered again I had to take her.
So, in essence, I had four Ayas in the same game, and that's not even counting one 1/1 I created with Shadowcaster. I have played only two plus the 1/1 since my opponent(Jade Druid) promptly conceded. Did anyone have a similar experience? I guess these new tri-class cards made this easier, but until now I've never had more than two of the same Legendaries...
Got the 100 gold/ 75 battlecry quest and threw together a deck to complete it quickly. Was playing in standard casual, and it actually worked well which was surprising. I played against only priests however, but i only lost to one of them.
I figure i'll share it for anyone who happens to have this quest. Not a ladder deck by any means, however to be fair i have not tried it on ladder either, so who knows! Very fun way to earn 100 gold! So much so, i kept playing it after i finished the quest. =P
I desperately tried to make Hunter (My favourite class) work this season. I settled on a Gadgetzan adaption of token hunter I made after Karazhan. I slowly made it to Rank 10, then hit a wall. I stayed there for several days, then decided to make one final push before the season reset. I ended up winstreaking from Rank 9 (3 Stars) to Rank 7 (5 Stars). Personal Best with any class. :)

Love feeding off the tears of Pirate Warriors when I Reno... salty, salty tears.
Been grinding out my Golden Gul'dan. 40-something wins to go...
What are the odds of 5 legendariss in 11 packs, 2 golden ones?
Just had someone play a...zoolock.
Wow. Don't see many of those. It was very good too, got me to 3 on turn 5. Lucky i had Reno, and was able to wipe his full board with my Abyssal.
finished my climb for the month...settling for rank 5 and now having a ball playing a weird token paladin in wild. lol.
Still not sure if I hate Hearthstone...or love it.

didn't wanna start a thread for this...

my decks (comments appreciated):
Lyra's Dragons (standard) | C'Thun Druid (standard) | Lyra's Prince (standard) | C'Thun Undead (wild)

Feels so good when you have a card in your starting hand which you know counters some of an opponent best play.
Rogue, turn one 12/12 Edwin (might have been turn two)
I'd have loved to see his face when I devolved it...

Lost 0-3 in arena - Got King Krush in the pack - Happy dayz :)
...The problem is not the problem, the problem is your attitude to the problem.

Arena: I just got super lucky, so I am posting salt for my opponent.
Opponent is playing aggro Mage, has no cards left in hand, has me at 1 HP. Passes turn to me. He pretty much wins next turn.
I am playing mid-range Mage with about 8 cards in my hand. I draw and play Babbling Book, get Unstable Portal.
Play Unstable Portal, get ILLUMINATOR. ARE YOU KIDDING ME. THIS CARD IS TERRIBLE. I WOULD NEVER DRAFT THIS CARD. *Reads what card does*
*Looks at hand* I have a secret! PRAISE ILLUMINATOR! Play secret, pass turn, gain 4 life.
Opponent topdecks Fireball. My secret is Counterspell. Opponent ragequits.

Empty Board.
Enemy drops Scaled Nightmare on T6.
