I always emote "well played" when someone dark pact's a lackey or a cube. Such skills must be acknowledged. Generally, I never BM other than that unless my opponent is doing it a lot and i end up turning it around and winning.
Why do you emote when someone plays a card combo? do you also emote when someone plays the coin to pull out a minion that would have come out the turn after?
No, he/she spent €1200 on entertainment for three years. There are far more costly forms of entertainment. Presumably he/she enjoyed the game for most of that time but started not to so left. Seems sensible to me. Carrying on doing something you’re not enjoying because you put money into it in the past would be more worthy of your sarcasm.
Yeah 1200 is nothing if your entertainment comes from hookers and cocaine!

Are you saying as a new player it should be easy as a F2P to compete with people who have been playing for years or spent a lot of money on the game?
if that was the case no one would spend money and Blizzard would lose interest....

In live tournaments a cheeky stare/wink over to your opponent is not against the rules.
I would love to get to the HS world finals and stand up and shout "Greetings" before I pull a Leeroy out and win the tournament!! #Epic
Not that its ever going to happen :)

The point was playing other games.....
I have a wife / kids so my game time is also limited. I tend to play other games when I have achieved what I wanted in hearthstone..
Or sometimes multitask:
Kids + misses in bed - Fortnite (PS4) on main TV - Hearthstone on my laptop and star wars force arena (hardly a game) on iPad....
