You only need to play 3 games for the pack, don't bother with what happens. I haven't played the games yet, only crafted the decks, but I long ago stopped caring for Arena. When you can't control what card go in your deck and you are unlucky with drafts, you can't really get past 10 wins...
oh wait... it's play 3 games only? easy... thought it needed us to start 3 arena runs... easier than i thought.
had the divine quest. usually when i have such quests, i just create a deck so i can spam cards and complete the quests quickly. since i had just reached one of the rank floors (the lowest one - rank 15), i figured i have nothing to lose playing my divine deck in ranked matches.
to be honest, i am still fairly new and don't have all the cards. so for my deck, i threw in all my minions with divine shield and then some complimentary cards.
first game ended before i could spam 10 divine minions. surprisingly, i won.
second game took longer but i won too. it was an interesting match against a Rogue, though i have no idea what kinda Rogue deck was being played. hardly saw any combo. no quest. and I think two vanish. i was a very close game and ended up with me actually winning. yay...
then i got a friend request. the thing is... this is sometimes a risk to accept and based on my past experience, its usually a salty opponent. still, thought I'd just add and tell my opponent "it was a good game" and "good luck with your ranking". and...
oh well, that just made the win even sweeter, realising my opponent is ranked higher than me...
to also add... now there are rank floors. once players reach these ranks, they can't drop lower. so, theoretically, you can see more players rank up now...
i play on my phone. it's kinda old phone. note 2. naturally, it lags on me. at times, it has actually hung on me. causing me to lose a few matches in the process. and in the games where i was losing, it looks as though i was being BM and just rage discon (opponent probably sees as rope), which I never do.
i just had another such experience. cr4p. by the time i got back into game, i had lost the match... and a star.
playing taunt warrior just to try and complete quest. it's a really made up deck with no QUEST or legendary. yes, i was hoping for cheap win.
anyway, went against this really weird Mage deck. if it was going against other decks, i doubt it would win. but coz my taunt deck was really slow, it went until my opponent's last card. and extra turn... which this screenshot will summarise:
basically infinite fireball. and i thought i was the only one going for cheap win. :D
it seems some popular classic cards will be relegated to WILD -- notable ones being Ragnaros.
I guess this is one way to get ppl to play Wild. plus, if we can craft those card now, seems Blizzard will give us back the FULL cost and let us keep the cards. free Ragnaros?!? :D
..To help meet our goals, certain cards from the Classic set will become exclusive to the Wild format. These cards will be added to the new Hall of Fame set, which will also include cards that are currently in the Reward set....
...We wanted to allow players to disenchant Classic cards that are being added to the Hall of Fame set for full dust refunds, but then felt that incentivizing players to dust their cool Wild cards was counter to our goal of making Wild awesome.
So instead, we're just going to give you the dust, and you can keep the cards!
Up to the maximum number of cards you could put in a deck, we will give you the full dust value of any cards you have that are being added to the Hall of Fame set. (Yes, that means if you have at least one Golden Ragnaros, you'll get 3200 dust!) The dust will be automatically awarded upon log-in once the Year of the Mammoth begins.
so... does that mean if we can craft those cards that will be relegated to WILD (even though are are CLASSIC sets), it's basically free cards?
so, if i don't have Ragnaros and craft one now, i will get back my cost at the start of the new year and still get to keep my Ragnaros? cool... :)

this brawl is time consuming though... and I feel Kel's got better chance of winning.

tried something very similar and it didn't end well for me. but i see many ppl saying Lyra is good value. i guess i need to explore more.
my dumb luck had my pull two Lyra in 50 packs. my 2 legendary and they have to be the same ones. :S

looks like next year will be called Year of the Mammoth...
there will also be some changed introduced. see:

what is interesting is this bit:

If you have already obtained this brawl's card back from last time, you will earn a card pack instead.
seems if you already have the back, then you get a pack instead.

won my match using Priest. my crate is a 4/4... there's also destroy all minions with 2 or below.
there's also the Shadow Word at 2 mana to give you a head start...
