I'm really into the shuffle package that came with this set.
It's finally time for Stowaway to see his time in the spotlight. :)
Still not sure how I feel like the rest is going to shake out, though. I could see a resurgence in galakrond rogue and a bit more of a controlly C'thun deck, too.
Let's just wait and see what demon hunter deck the meta settles on and then we can just build counters to that. /sarcasm?
Thanks man going to try it out soon! I hope rogue can fair well against the likes of warlock and druid. Seems like those classes will be very strong this expo.
Rogue seems strong. I like the secret package and been toying around with the new stealth spell to buy time for late game C’thun and Yogg. Probably my favourite class so far this expansion.
I'm playing a C'Thun, the Shattered Rogue deck which is immense fun. So much value and interesting, varied play patterns. My most recent game, against a Warlock, went to fatigue. The one before that was wrapped up early with a second turn 8/8 Edwin VanCleef.
I tried different rogue decks since the expansion came out: aggro, stealth, weapon, tempo but the most consistent deck with the best winrate for me so far is galakrond rogue. I like it even if it's nerfed now and sure I will miss it once it goes to wild so I'm abusing its power while it stays in standard. The deck is basically the old version with some new cards like the 2 mana spell that draws you one minion and a spell if you combo it, the 2 mana fox which is one of the best combo activators. You have huge value, big tempo swings with Edwin, Togwaggle, Galakdrond, Kronx and another card that I like in this deck is Yogg-Saron, Master of Fate. If you are losing this card can turn the tables and the effect is easily triggered with the amount of spells you have in deck and the ones you get from the ethereal lackey. Definitely a good deck for this expansion and the best feeling I had today was when my opponent had a board full of 8/8 Carnival Clown and then I played Flik Skyshiv, fastest concede ever.

I need this in my life right now...
My first love has always been mage, but second is rogue. And this clown nonsense is a real pain. I think I'm going to play some Galakrond Rogue for a while until I land one of these.
It seems like every druid I've run into is doing this survival clown y'shaarj stuff.
But I guess once I queue up rogue I'll never see druid or that silly orc again!
Believe it or not i have moderate success with highlander rogue. i also made a custom Galakrond deck that sees above 70%wr, only stomped by heavy aggro bs like totem shaman now and then:
Secret Miracle Rogue is a true control killer, very good against all the greed. It sucks that Evolve Shaman is playable again though, thats always bad news cuz shaman likes to spam the board every turn, but thats the only horrible matchup.
Title. Curious as to what decks are being formed and where everyone sees rogue headed. Think the class will be viable this expansion?
Hi my dood.
Im toying around with infinite combo spam right now and love it
I've had a lot of luck with a fast tempo rogue build using Foxy Fraud, Swindle, Ticket Master, and Wriggling Horror.
J Alexander's shuffle stealth rogue is pretty sweet
I'm doing awesome in wild with mill rogue. Not sure about standard yet

I'm loving playing Yogg Saron with secrets, I'll post the deck list soon.
CRUISIN YEEEAH! CRUISIN USA!
Cool! Sounds interesting. I wonder if secret rogue will be strong. It seems Druid and Warlock are strong so far.

Here you go if you wanna try it out, I think you can change out quite a few of the cards. Really the core is just secrets, Hanar, and Yogg.
CRUISIN YEEEAH! CRUISIN USA!
I’m testing secret miracle with fox and the new card draw, sometimes get either big value or big Edwin, or both
still dies horribly to aggro, but manages to deal with Priest and other control decks

Is that a murloc? Yawn....conceede!

Rogue has fantastic card draw and tutoring options to find the pieces of the C'Thun puzzle. Running C'Thun, Grand Empress Shek'zara, Stowaway, Secret Passage, Dirty Tricks and Swindle for this.
Generation off Wand Thief, Pharaoh Cat and EVIL Miscreant helps keep one alive in the early game and provides flexibility later. Ticket Master has also proved key in many situations.
Running two other legendaries in addition to the three already mentioned: Shadowjeweler Hanar and Jandice Barov.

but to answer your specific question i mostly see it being secret rogue with lots of bouncebacks.
Oh very cool! Is that the highlander list? Would you mind posting your galakrond list as well? :)

Im running an aggro stealth/secret/yogg deck and it's doing pretty well.
If you were Peter Pan and given the chance to never grow up, would you take it?
