I unironically just beat a Hero Power mage and a control Warrior with a deck with him included (NO Tickatus), in case some of you are wondering whether you should craft him.
I posted here about Deck of Chaos recently, but then I just got 3 more in like 10 packs, I'm obviously a bit dumb-founded by this luck and I'm not sure what to do, so I came here for ideas:
Zai, the Incredible - Seems promising but DH is, well, DH, I think I can win reliably without it, but it does look like a nice little boost to seek lethal.
G'huun the Blood God - I literally don't play Priest and hardly have any cards for the class, so I think this is a certain dust right? But if there is some good cheap-ish Priest decks that he could fit in, by all means tell me. Or if he's any worth the risk at all if I'm low HP.
Rinling's Rifle - Same as DH, Hunter is so aggro that I can win pretty consistently with my secret Hunter without the weapon, but so far it did help my tempo sometimes. And there's always the issue of actually drawing it.
I think it depends a little bit on what kind of mage deck you prefer playing.
I like pure spell mage, so Solarian isn't actually important, but Evocation is.
Highlander decks don't usually run Evocation, but Solarian is a great card there. Kalecgos as well.
Well right now I have to say I'm having much more fun with spell Mage, but I also really enjoy Deck of Lunacy. So you can see how they kinda go against each other because of DoL's effect.
I mean I can obviously make a separate spell Mage with Evocation, too.
If you play DH simply because you can't afford any expensive decks or just started out the game, sure. I don't mind you too much.
But. If you could play any other class and decide to spam DH just to shit on people's experience who actually try to experiment with decks or play Hearthstone, not "will I survive the first 5 turns"-Stone, go fuck yourself.
I got him from the rewards track, and I tried to make him work in Evolve Shaman (yes you read it correctly, I was messing around mostly) but never really got to play him cause I stomped the opponent before. Then I tried to make a Pally deck with him, and it's meh at best.
Is he worth keeping? Im thinking of crafting C'thunn or Yogg tbh. (I have 5400 dust currently and play Rogue, Paladin, Mage, Hunter and Shaman, for the record)
you see... from what i read it seems you miss out on the core issue here, and correct me if im wrong. if you actually bring out some arguments instead of being toxic i'll reply to you.
im a semi p2w, meaning i only bought 2 preorders in my life, but i ocassionally buy packs, adventures, bundles and so on. i have 12 decks, all of them custom made on 5 different classes, enjoying all of them. but do you know just how much money i had to spend on the game to reach this point? plenty,my friends. im no whale, but if i tell anyone the sum, they'd think im nuts.
so as much as i agree that f2p's shouldn't complain about how and when they get free stuff when they don't pay a dime to support the free digital content they enjoy, the main problem is how people who DO spend money on the game are treated.
you spend a literal AAA game's price on each preorder, and most of the time you get like... 5-6 legendaries? more if lucky? you dont even have half of the expansion most of the time. instead of paying for a AAA title, i purchase digital cards from a collection/expansion with these money, and i dont even have AT LEAST half of it (i think you should have about 70-80% of the expansion if you get the megabundles)
TL;DR: To quote Solem in his recent video, the game isnt p2w. its pay to have fun. anyone can smack together some aggro deck and call it a day with like 1200 dust. but to make a deck you actually find fun and engaging, aka with plenty of epics and legendaries? waaaay more.
a bit under halfway to lvl 20, about 6 7 games every day, quests included. definitely seems doable, but we all know the elephant in the room isnt how long it takes. its the single pack rewards. these have to go, and i know Blizz stated that they will. it better be quick tho
two fully different cards. shekzara basically guarantees your cthun but you need more than one turn to finish him most of the time. togwaggle is 3 mana insane value of your choice most of the time.
i'd personally go with togwaggle if you have polkelt
so mathematically, judging by the way the xp cap raises after every level, once you reach say level 40-45, it WILL take you most likely one week to do one level. without the pass it can be rather tedious, yes.
but definitely doable weeks before the next expansion as long as you dont miss out too much quests.
Believe it or not i have moderate success with highlander rogue. i also made a custom Galakrond deck that sees above 70%wr, only stomped by heavy aggro bs like totem shaman now and then:
It depends on what class you're playing. For example, any decent Mage deck with some good draws and discovers should reliably shut it down. And there's always the option of out-aggroing them with DH and Hunter. Or you can play OP bullshit like Druid too and hope they don't get perfect spells each turn.
But does Libram Pally feel like too much sometimes? Absolutely in my opinion.

I got it in a pack. Thoughts? Is it good in literally anything out there?

Oh yeah I already do that with C'thunn. I guessss I could put Evocation in just in case DoL is somewhere at the bottom of the deck or something.

I'm leaning towards Evocation or Solarian. Any suggestions? I can only afford one so it's gotta be worth it.
For the record I already have Jandice, Deck of Lunacy and Sayge.

but to answer your specific question i mostly see it being secret rogue with lots of bouncebacks.
