I'm not sure if it was mentioned before here but looking at the death knights cards I can feel they would fit great for being classic cards as they carry high amount of fun and excitement
Is there any chance to see blizzard moving these cards to classic set as I would not like to see them rotating to wild once we get into new year
For some I would be fine if they moved them to classic, but others would hurt the game/class if they kept them.
Imo Jaina is a great example of a DK to keep in an ideal HS because it would actually ensure that the mage class always has an archtype to fall back on without automatically going to Tempo/Burn mage. The existence of the card in classic would create a control foundation for a class that just smorcs everything up if the new expansion cards fail to stick.
Gul'Dan and Malfurion are examples of cards that would hurt standard and simply stagnate the class. Gul'Dan punishes any class that doesn't have wide board clears unless those classes go for an aggressive or consistent combo approach. Malfurion would just encourage druids to stay a slow and/or combo oriented class indefinitely due to the massive survivability it provides the class just by itself.
Please no. Their power level is absurd. It would go against Team5's philosophy of not including cards that limit design space in the classic set.
Much more likely to happen is new, more balanced heroes down the line.
And that's all that needs to be said about this topic, really.
Seconded. They were a big hit, but they're going to stifle the meta eventually. Ghoul-Man's hero power is simply oppressive. Rexxar trumps value control decks with a single card. Frost Lich Jaina limits Mage archetypes by offering any potential mid range Mage build the ability to win the long game with a single card. And we've seen what a godawful meta Shadowreaper Anduin can create with any sort of hero power synergy.
They were really well designed, but by the time we've gotten through five expansions I think we'll be pretty sick of them.
I freaking loved these hero cards when KOFT came out. They are great and unique BUT im sick of seeing Bloodreaver Gul'dan and Malfurion the Pestilent in their class'es every single deck. Guldan has the best hero power and can win literally any long game while malfurion can dominate early-mid game with his mana cheat cards. Frost Lich Jaina is ok for me because we haven't seen any good control decks since the rotation of reno (big spell mage became good with frost lich).
So there are really problematic and useless ones. If they rotated out It would be ok for me as long as they print new hero cards.
Any deck that aims at lategame ends up with requiring DK as a staple card.
As if it wasn't boring enough, many DK cards also tend to enforce synergies in the deck, for value purposes, which further narrow down the spectrum of variety.
Same reasoning for Reno and N'zoth in Wild (boredom and staple-ness is actually worse for them, but same principle).
These cards are bad for hearthstone. They were great fun when they were brand new, but they are the power creepiest cards that have been released. Year of the mammoth was too powerful and I'm glad they haven't cranked the dial up that far yet this year. If they can release another moderate power level expansion in December, we're in for a treat when mammoth cards rotate and HS returns to pre-WOG power creep.

Blizz will print new hero cards to replace them with time
Don't mind me just passing by

Bloody hell NO. Don't get me wrong I love my Thrall, Deathseer, but if cards like Frost Lich Jaina, Bloodreaver Gul'dan or Malfurion the Pestilent actually stayed in Standard then I'd just quit the game outright.
These cards are horrendously unbalanced and warp any meta that gives them any sort of prominence.
the card are totaly balancef what are you talking about XD

Try using a different statement in the subject of a thread next time. This looked like a official announcement.
Tbh, i wish DK never existed.

I think its better to add new playable heros than keeping them for example hagatha and dr boom
They don't need to be added to Classic. Their impact in new and similar cards (like Boom and Hagatha) would be their legacy.
Golden Hero Collections thus far; -
Europe: Druid, Hunter, Paladin, Mage, Priest, Rogue, Shaman, Warlock, Warrior (9/9)
Americas: Druid, Mage, Paladin Shaman (4/9)
Everywhere else: Workin on it.. (0/9)

They are too powerful to be in classic set imo
There will be new hero cards like Hagatha the Witch and Dr. Boom, Mad Genius in every class imo.
